I was listening to Mel Robbins yesterday and what she said hit home. We need to grow up. When we were young, often we didn't "feel like it." But that didn't matter. We had to do it anyway because Mom or Dad said so. As adults we need to parent ourselves; take responsibility for our lives. Motivation is a feeling that ebbs and flows. No matter. We need to:
1. "Just do it" because we said so.
2. Count 5-4-3-2-1 and get to it, whether you feel like it or not.
3. Use simple discipline to create routines in your life
4. Use environmental triggers to "cue yourself" to take action.
