Minimize bruising after your aesthetic treatments. Here are some tips to help you recover smoothly and prevent bruising! 👄

▪️Enjoy some pineapple! It contains Bromelain, an enzyme that helps reduce inflammation and can minimize bruising.
▪️No alcohol 48 hours before injections.Alcohol acts as a blood thinner, which can increase the likelihood of bruising. Additionally, alcohol can dehydrate your skin, which can impede the healing process.
▪️Use arnica tablets, available at Whole Foods or Amazon. ALSO, Alastin INhance Post-Injection Serum placed on the area after the injections decreases the bruising time. Arnica is a natural remedy known for its anti-inflammatory properties and can help reduce bruising and swelling.
▪️Apply cold compresses immediately after your procedure to constrict blood vessels.
▪️Avoid strenuous exercise for 24-48 hours post-treatment. Physical activity can raise blood pressure and heart rate, potentially increasing the risk of bruising by causing blood vessels to expand and become more fragile. Light activities are generally safe, but intense workouts should be postponed.
▪️Steer clear of blood-thinning medications and supplements such as aspirin, ibuprofen, vitamin E, fish oil and Tumeric for at least a week before your treatment (check with your prescribing provider first).

And of course, follow your practitioner’s post-treatment instructions for the best results! 🌿
