It's easy to forget about your AC Unit until there is a problem! 😖 Schedule an appointment with your HVAC tech every 6 months to perform a complete inspection and any needed maintenance. Follow these next steps in between scheduled visits to keep your AC unit running correctly every day in this Florida heat! 🌞🥵

✅REPLACE YOUR AIR FILTER
You should replace your air filter every 90 DAYS to keep your AC unit running correctly.
If you have mild allergies or pets, you should change your air filter every 60 DAYS.
If you have severe allergies and multiple pets, you may need to change your air filter EVERY MONTH!

✅CLEAR YOUR UNIT
Keep plants and brush cut back at least 2 feet. This will guarantee the best air flow. Keep the unit covered during storms so debris can't fall in the unit. *Never completely cover the unit as it can cause moisture build-up!

*CHECK MONTHLY*

✅INSPECT REFIGERENT LINE
Make sure the refrigerant line is WELL INSULATED. This will keep the v***r inside around 20 and will ensure the air will remail cold in your home. If you notice damage to the refrigerant line, schedule with your HVAC guy right away! Damage can cause the v***r to become warm and will make the air warmer in your home.

✅CHECK REGISTERS/VENTS
Registers cover the hole where the duct runs between the unit and the room. Check them for dust & debris every month for the best airflow. Remember to also keep them uncovered.
