Been going here for over 10 years. I've tried multiple sushi places in the surrounding area like st.pete, Pinellas Park, Clearwater etc and nothing compares to Hooks! I've always seen the same sushi guys there and they always make you feel welcomed. The food is awesome I highly recommend the Sunshine Roll it is my favorite. I order to go and eat in about 2-3 times a month ( like I said they are the best!). You can ask for extra special sauce like eel, heavenly, and spicy mayo if you don't like to use soy sauce (no extra charge like some places). The parking is small but there is an extra lot across the side street. It's definitely the best sushi place in town!!

Always amazing sushi ! Service is normally impeccable, although I've had a couple of misses - none lately! It's a small place, so plan ahead or hope to get lucky - they fill up fast!

Best sushi you can get, always consistent and always high quality food. They do it right our favorite is the Shaggy Dog and TST! Oh and don’t forget the sushi nachos!

Don't let the hole in the wall look fool you! This place has a very well crafted interior environment with cozy feeling and legit cooks making you feel their flavors in your mouth!
And its right down the street! That blew my mouth!

Best sushi in St Petersburg. Prices are fair and the atmosphere is very relaxed. Seating is sometimes an issue but I have never waited more than 15 minutes.

Best place for a good atmosphere and great food. The team in the kitchen makes nothing but the most amazing food. The servers are top notch, ESPECIALLY ANNA! She provides exceptional service and is very friendly! The owners are as caring as they come and so kind to everyone, always greeting you with a smile. There is no need to go anywhere besides Hook's when you want only the best dining experience.
