The 2024 Senior Hall of Fame inductees were each recognized for their many years of active volunteer service, and received their keys to the city at a recent City Council meeting. A proclamation was also read declaring May as Older Americans Month in the . Older Americans Month highlights older American's contributions to our communities, recognizes the issues facing older citizens and promotes the importance of creating community connections.

Our fearless leader was recently inducted into the St. Petersburg Senior Hall of Fame! Congratulations, Ray.

The hard work continues.

A few photos from harvest day last week. 273 pounds harvested to bring this year's total to 837 pounds donated to Daystar LIfe Center and 360eats.

The garden is looking very green!

This week the tomatoes are still growing strong - and they've been joined by some lovely greens.

The City delivered more mulch December 16. It was all used in the remaining bed area and in the pathways. These show before and after a LOT of volunteer work was done!

There are still lots of little ones in the nursery waiting for their chance to be added to the garden.

The 4H maintains the garden box behind our bed. Great to see what they have growing.
