The Theta Eta Lambda Educational Foundation would like to announce that the applications for the 2023 Charley J. Williams and Givens Memorial Scholarships are now available. The scholarships are provided through partnerships with Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Theta Eta Lambda Chapter and the family of Clarence Givens.
Named after Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Theta Eta Lambda Chapter Brother, the Charley J. Williams Scholarship will be awarded to two young men who with seek post-secondary education whether it be at a college/university or technical school.
The Givens Memorial Scholarship is awarded in honor of the work done in the education field by Alpha Phi Alpha Brother and Theta Eta Lambda Charter Member, Clarence Givens. The scholarship will be awarded to two young women who with seek post-secondary education whether it be at a college/university or technical school.

During our 60th Anniversary Holiday Gala and Joy Dance this Friday we recognized several Brothers for their work on behalf of our dear Fraternity while in our chapter with the first ever Theta Eta Lambda Living Legacy President's Award. The recipients were Brothers Charley Williams, Darren Hammond, Michael Hughes, and Jack Fletcher. We also recognized our Brother Larry Billue Jr, our 2021-2022 Chapter Brother of the Year, for the work during the last fraternal year.
We want to thank everyone who attended our 60th Anniversary Holiday Gala and Joy Dance. We hope you all enjoyed the evening and danced the night away.

We will be hosting an Alpha Informational Seminar for men interested in seeking membership into our great Fraternity. Business attire is required for all attendees.
Come join us on Friday, April 29th for our Greek Bowling Social at Seminole Bowling Lanes. Games will begin at 6 pm. This will be the first event in the Greek Games. Each member organization is asked to fill a team of 3.
All are welcome to attend and fellowship. Attendees who would like to bowl for fun are responsible for their own bowling fees ($14 for 1 hour of bowling, $17 for 2 hours). If you do not wish to bowl, we still encourage you come on out and hang with your fellow Greeks.

The NPHC Pinellas County has been invited by the Tampa Bay Rays to celebrate Jackie Robinson Day at Tropicana Field on Friday, April 22nd. Jackie Robinson Day commemorates the anniversary of Robinson breaking the color barrier, with teams wearing his iconic No. 42 on their jerseys. This year will mark the 75th anniversary of this tremendous moment.
The Rays will be facing the Boston Red Sox at 7:10 pm. Tickets are $30 and $5 of each ticket purchased will be donated by the Rays to the NPHC Pinellas County to benefit the chapter's social and community service work.
