ROB CAMERA MAKES PARTNER AT THE GALLEY & THE SHIP’s HOLD!

Rob Camera has come a long way in 6+ years aboard the good ship Galley , and has not only taken over as our Culinary Director and Exec Chef, but he is now as of this month a managing partner of The Galley. Rob has been with us since the early days when I used to make him work Sunday Brunches behind the bar (he loved it 😂 ) and worked his way from being a closer, to a lead , then to mixologist, then Exec Chef last winter, and now to ownership. He was inspired by the amazing Joey Frasco and has taken the ball and ran with it. Rob’s attention to detail and rapier wit has helped make the Galley & Hold what it is today. Ian Taylor and I have always been able to lean on Rob and occasionally lean into him, but we’ve always been proud to have him. Thanks to Laura for sending him our way all those years ago… we are incredibly proud to have an employee-owned establishment that helps to convey our message since day 1 , that being part of our krewe is a genuine career option. Rob has a share vision of what our St Pete Tavern should and could be… and we’re damn glad to be on the journey with him.
