That crazy lady is still talking bad about us even after getting her bird back that she relinquished 🤷🏻‍♀️ I finally told her to go f**k herself today. Telling me we’re full of deception and lies. I can’t keep up anymore she’s so psychotic. I can’t remember every detail of everything we’ve ever done off the top of my head. But all our birds are in good safe happy homes and that’s what matters! Yes I’m allowed to advertise on Craigslist, I didn’t realize we could only use word of mouth and our small following on Facebook ooops. 🤣 Unfortunately the bird she took back has to suffer due to her craziness but I can’t save them all.

I’ve done way to much for this community and when I get out of rescue it will absolutely be humans at fault for stressing me out so bad I couldn’t handle it anymore, 20 years in rescue. Thank you to our actual loyal fans and followers for so many good years as hey cute bird! Many many of you have seen our spaces, been to our home, visited our birds, seen 1000s of pictures we post here and have supported our mission to the bitter end. ♥️🫶🏻 i thank all of you from my heart for how special this journey has been!

It’s unfortunate that the breeding community and bird stores have so much hate for the rescue community. The manipulation and lying from those types of stores has been an ongoing problem for rescues for years! Despite this we still allow good breeders and legit folks to be part of our PNW Parrot Partners - Rehoming, Advice and Fun! Community and when they aren’t in the group it’s because they have been removed for a reason! Keep that in mind!!

People slandering us in a group where we can’t respond, saying we sold a grey twice for $3600 total and kept all the money lol. When in fact that bird was adopted, all of the money was returned to the former adopter. And yes the bird was later adopted out to a rescue supporter and foster family 🙂 who is a great option. So saying I have “jr high drama” is absurd. I’m in my 30s I don’t have time for your drama. 🤣

Also if you relinquished a bird to the rescue and 8 months down the road want your birds back, obviously we can’t guarantee that will happen. Or that we even still have them. We also don’t so long term fostering for free either.

It’s weird people can’t communicate like adults. I understand we’re emotional beings. But bullying us, slandering us? I think most of you know enough of what we have done in our 5 years as an established rescue and the 1000s of hours or community efforts we’ve made. 😊 thanks to our real supporters!

If only you guys knew what some of your other rescues were up to behind closed doors…

I wanted to thank everyone who contributed to our food and bird fund ❤️ you guys are amazing and I love all of you so so much, thank you so much for all you do for us and we will keep going as long as possible to give these birds the best possible chance. Hearing that so many others are struggling is such a heartbreak. Hearing that other bird rescued in Oregon can’t find homes either is just such a devastating thing… how will rescues go on and do what’s needed? I hope my community pages will continue to serve the PNW well ❤️
