Our cast iron witch boot can be a candleholder, bookend, tiny planter, doorstop, exercise weight, and many other things besides - and this fall we've added one more use. Now through October 31st, ALL proceeds from sales of the witch boot will be donated to !

The Salem Pantry provides the North Shore with convenient access to fresh, free, healthy food. Their innovative public mobile pantries, home deliveries, and brick-and-mortar storefront offer an abundant selection of produce, proteins, spices, and dairy products. They partner with local farmers and health organizations to nourish our community from the inside out.

People born under the sun in Libra tend to be fair-minded, diplomatic, thoughtful, and caring individuals. Some of our favorite Libras include Gandhi, Serena Williams, Kamala Harris, and Whimsy's staff member Mikki!

All our Salem stickers come from local artist Keegsie Designs - greeting cards, ornaments, and art prints, too! We ❤ supporting our fellow cat lovers (and the corgi is also pretty cute).

The season of the witch is also the season of the acorn - we're delighting in these little felted beauties from Oakwind Hollow, available as colorful necklaces and earrings or just a charm to carry in your pocket. They're made locally, at the foot of Mt. Wachusett, and feature real acorn caps!

And if you want a store of acorns to nourish you through cold times ahead, try the ones we just got in from Harbor Sweets Handmade Chocolates. They're available in solid dark chocolate or milk chocolate, and made right here in Salem. No squirrel will have a stash as good as yours!

Just another way we like to sweeten our life with a sense of whimsy.

OUR NEW ICE CREAM FREEZER IS HERE!

After surviving for a week on a small temporary freezer and a limited ice cream menu, we are back in action and ready for the fall busy season offering 16 flavors of Richardson's Ice Cream!

Big shoutout to Melt Ice Cream for keeping our stock cold since our trusty old fridge gave up the ghost just before Labor Day. We are so grateful to be part of this supportive small business community - we get by with a little help from our friends.

Now bring on the pumpkin and the apple crisp (both seasonal ice cream varieties available at Whimsy's)!

Our new flag is flying! Now find your way to Whimsy's for ice cream, chocolates, and magical gifts even more easily from Derby Square and the Old Town Hall. We're open 11 to 8 on Fridays and Saturdays, 11 to 7 Sunday through Thursday.

Did you know you don't need to wait for October to shop in Salem? If you live locally, come visit Whimsy's in September! We're well stocked with wands, brooms, tarot decks, candles, essential oils, and so much more - beat the crowds and collect your magickal supplies before the leaves turn.

We are unable to fill ice cream orders today due to a malfunction of our freezer. We will be able to sell a limited selection of ice cream over the weekend using a temporary solution. We will have our regular selection and a new freezer by next weekend.

In the meantime, we are fully stocked on delicious chocolate truffles, turtles, and peanut butter cups, along with assorted cakes, brownies, and Harbor Sweets treats. Our retail gift shop remains open with new products and fall jewelry.
