Last day at the Oregon State Fair! Michael is taking the morning shift while Amanda is working on dough bowls, packing and preparing orders for shipping tomorrow, but she'll be there later this afternoon. Big thanks to everyone who has stopped by to say hello, buy a candle or melt (or 3) and to all of the new friends we've met--we're so thankful for all of you!

Happy September! Finally, the “BER” months are here and we have all of the fragrances of Fall on our website or down at the today from 10am to 11pm. Today is day 10 and the next to last day to see us at the Fair in the Jackman Long Building next to MattressFirm. Our next market is The Great Junk Hunt here in Salem, Oregon on October 18th and 19th.

Years ago, Amanda was on the Price is Right, an experience she and Michael won’t forget. (Michael was clapping so hard his wedding ring fell off and hit a lady in the head! 😬 A person can’t hear themselves think inside the studio, it’s so loud!)

Fast forward to the point of this post…

This morning Michael is taking the morning off to catch an episode and to catch up on rest. If you’re at the today, “Come on down!!!”

Someone found something he couldn’t live without here at the !

“Peachy Keen” short mason jar candles are nearly sold out (one left!) here at the State Fair, and Amanda has arrived to give Michael a much needed break. We are here until 10pm!

Happy Sunday! Michael or “Muscles” 😃 is currently at the booth at the Fair and Amanda will be joining a little later today. For those who will be there today, we are in the center of the Jackman Long building, next to the mattresses. Look for the watercolor banner at the front of our table (near the center of the photo below) or just look for Michael wearing his blue LA Dodger hat! We look forward to seeing you! 😃

Today, thanks to Michael, Amanda has the morning off after a very busy 3 weeks. It’s good to slow down and enjoy the morning with a walk through the neighborhood. We hope your morning is enjoyable and that if you find yourself at the fair, you’ll find us at the Jackman Long Building right next to the mattresses. See you soon!

We keep inching closer! Tomorrow is picking up our scissor lift carts, pouring more candles, finalizing the last bit of details for opening day on Friday at 10am. We are right next to all of the mattresses inside Jackman Long, can’t miss us! We are so excited to see you at the Oregon State Fair!

Behind the scenes! We don’t like to work on Sundays for a variety of reasons, one being our only day off together, but sometimes we do… Here’s our third trip—like this—to the climate controlled storage unit in the last eight days. These boxes are two cases deep. Who needs a gym membership when you can carry 50lb wax boxes and 20lb ish finished candle cases?🤣

Well, 150lbs of wax gone through in less than 24 hours and it’s been a “Vintage Christmas” day. This has been the theme since we were accepted to the fair just a few weeks ago. 😳🤣 We are working hard to bring enough inventory of the favorites you’ve come to know and love so you can stock up, along with your friends.😉🕯️

This was a process, but Amanda persisted, and we are thrilled to announce we have a booth at the OREGON STATE FAIR! Come see us and our niece Penelope in the Jackman Long Building. Scroll through the photos for all of the details including a map of where we'll be. We are bringing half of our fragrances but are including our brand-new scent "Secret Garden".

Who ❤️ “Coffeehouse”? 🙋‍♀️ The raccoons took over the workshop today. 10 cases, or 120 worth of jar candles alone ready for the upcoming market season… That doesn’t include what we already have in stock packed away at the climate controlled storage unit. 😳🫣 🦝 ☕️ 🕯️

Is a thing? Can we make it a thing? Here’s just one of the new scents coming to our Fall lineup… it’s AMAZING! This is one a person smells numerous times to pick up all of the beautiful notes. Don’t let the rose image fool you, it’s so much more than “just rose” and it’s a favorite around our home. **Not yet on the website!**

We love seeing refills show up to our workshop like this! These dough bowl candles performed like we designed them to, and they clean up nicely for their new scents. Did you know you can pick a different scent each time? We have found that folks change out the fragrance with the changing seasons.

Who else is thankful for the rain this morning?! 🙋‍♀️ We are also thankful for ALL of the orders we've received since announcing our 7th Anniversary Sale!
