To all my followers and supporters, it is with a heavy heart that I have to announce the closure of Mint’s store front at the 45th Parallel Building. It’s been a great 3 years and all though I’m sad to be closing the store front, it’s a bittersweet feeling. As some of you know, I had a partner when this store first opened and about a year a half ago, she abandoned the partnership and left me to pick up the pieces alone. This wasn’t something I had time or the mental capacity to do on my own but I ran the store the best I could while still trying to present in my family life. Not having a partner anymore forced me to miss out on family events, school field trips, and more. It was really starting to weigh on me and my family, and to top it off, the retail world just isn’t like it used to be and many people are not shopping in person anymore, so I was struggling to make ends meet at the shop. Making the choice to close the store front was a very hard one, but it’s also a good one. I won’t be closing completely. I will be continuing the store on the website and doing pop ups. I’m going to miss seeing everyone’s faces and watching your kiddos grow up but I hope you will stick with me and shop Mint online and come visit me at pop ups around town. Our last day in the shop will be December 30, 2023. I really can’t tell you enough how much I appreciate you all. Your support throughout the years has meant more to me than you will ever know. You let me live out my dream of having a store front. It’s because of all of you that the shop lasted as long as it did.

New HOLIDAY HOURS! Last week I posted holiday hours but I am going to have to change them up a bit. I have been feeling under the weather and been trying to push through as much as possible but it’s finally caught up to me. So although I did plan to open on Tuesday this week (normally we are closed Tuesdays), I’m going to have change that. I need an extra day to pull myself together before the big holiday and sale this weekend. So, our holiday hours this week are Wednesday 10-4 (extended hours) closed Thursday and Friday, and open Saturday 10-5 with our big sale and vendor pop up from 10-4pm in the halls.

Thanks for always being understanding of me having to pivot things.

As always, the website is open. We sold out of a few items over the weekend and have limited quantities left of some other so if you have been eye balling anything, run over to the website and snag it before it’s gone.
