Creating Opportunities is HIRING AMAZING & DYNAMIC TEAM MEMBERS
Several positions immediately available. We have several positions available and are seeking highly skilled applicants who care about making a difference for people with disabilities, their families and the communities we are a part of.
Project Coordinator Position Available
This position involves coordinating activities and communications for various projects simultaneously; scheduling project staff to complete deliverables per required timelines; maintaining documentation and reporting activities as completed.
Project Associates
These positions involve outreach about available support to individuals, families, and community partners; providing direct consultation and assistance in managing available services; and hosting informational sessions.
Bilingual English-Spanish Positions Available
These positions include sharing information with Spanish-speaking families, community organizations and other agencies about the availability of services for children and adults with disabilities; providing direct consultation about how to manage the services available to them; and/or hosting community events specifically for Hispanic families.
Administrative Assistant Positions Available
These positions would provide assistance to program staff for grant projects and program expansions. Primary responsibilities include scheduling, responding to program referrals and inquiries, logistical support for event planning, and documenting participation data.

Creating Opportunities is hiring immediately for each of our existing programs as well as several grant projects. Temporary and ongoing part-time positions available, work 15 to 30 hours per week. Flexible scheduling. These are hybrid positions with some scheduled work in our Salem office. Must have reliable transportation, be able to pass a background check, and be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. We encourage bilingual applicants who are fluent in both Spanish and English to apply to any of the positions listed above.

Parents -- you can help shape future special education services in Oregon with your input. The United States Department of Education Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP) will be holding virtual focus group meetings for parents receiving special education services. You can share your general story about how you have been involved in decision-making and in using your rights; what has worked well for you and your child and challenges that you have faced in getting services. OSEP will guide the group discussion and it will be confidential. Pick the best session for you:
