Fortunato and ST Solutions are back at it for another week. We’re teaming up to provide meals to those in need around the community!

Donations ensure that hungry families get meals, and restaurant workers get paychecks Roanoke Valley restaurants, with financial support from businesses and foundations, are putting their staff to work by providing free meals to community members in need.

Exciting news! We are honored to have the opportunity to partner with Salem Tools, Inc DBA ST Solutions and CHIP of Roanoke Valley to provide meals for families in our community. This partnership will allow us on Tuesdays and Wednesdays to prepare and distribute meals for families in need. We are blessed that ST Solutions has given us this chance and look forward to being able to give back to so many of you that have supported us this past year.

Regular restaurant hours for Fortunato will be Thursday thru Saturday for takeout from 5-8pm and we look forward to seeing you soon!

Dear Customers,

I am writing to update you on how ST Solutions is responding to the growing concern and uncertainty of the Coronavirus COVID-19 situation. At ST Solutions, the health and safety of our customers, associates, employees, and communities is top priority, amidst the concerns of the spread of the Coronavirus. We will continue to serve you, and want to share valuable information with you about how we will continue to operate safely and effectively.

We are beginning to see some disruptions in the supply of products, but please know we are closely monitoring the situation with our suppliers. We have polled the top 80% of our suppliers for updates on their supply status as it relates to the COVID-19 outbreak. Additionally, as we are receiving notifications from suppliers related to service disruptions, we are identifying the potential affected customers, and our sales staff are working with those customers to order additional product or adjust inventory levels as needed.

At this time, the product area showing outages/increased lead times has been centered on personal protective gear such as masks and associated items such as hand sanitizers. ST Solutions’ sales staff are already working with those customers that may be affected by these delays.

In addition to monitoring supplier status and product availability, ST Solutions has implemented a variety of measures to allow continued operations:

• Essential personnel have the capability to work from home if necessary.
• Staff have access to N95 respirators and hand sanitizer.
• Large meetings are being conducted by phone or webinar to avoid exposure.
• Janitorial services have implemented additional sanitation procedures when cleaning our facilities.
• Employees have been encouraged to stay home if they are ill and to notify Human Resources if they or a household member has possibly been exposed or has been diagnosed with COVID-19.

The World Health Organization (WHO) and the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is requesting employers to do all they can to slow the coronavirus outbreak. We have implemented proactive steps to do our part, helping to protect our valuable employees and the global market. We are monitoring foreign travel by employees and visitors to our sites in alignment with CDC guidelines. ST Solutions will continue to assess the situation and work with our suppliers, customers, and team members to best limit the impact from COVID-19-related service disruptions.

We wish good health and safety to all our customers, suppliers, associates, employees and families. We assure you that ST Solutions has a significant capital base and lines of credit to insure uninterrupted operations. We appreciate your continued confidence in ST Solutions to support your needs.

Jeff was honored to meet and spend time with Bill Weisburg, Chairman and CEO of Affiliated Distributors.

Jeff Broyles, Material Manager for ST Solutions, attended his first Affiliated Distributor North American Conference in September. Jeff was fortunate to meet with students of Texas A&M enrolled in the Master of Industrial Distribution Program. The photos feature the Aggie Salute.

Will Powell attended the annual Affiliated Distributors North American Conference in Dallas and participated in meetings with peers of Network #206. Network #206 said a fond farewell to fellow independent Mike Stephenson, President of Powell Tool Supply, who is retiring. Best wishes from us at ST Solutions, Mike.
