This is my new favorite hat!!! I made it last week from a necktie I found at a thrift store. I thought I was going to make a headband from it but I loved the flowers so much! It shows off better this way. I have some more beanie necktie mashups coming soon!

Yesterday’s new hat … thrifted wool sweater and a lace blouse!

Some of you know that last year before I was diagnosed with cancer I was working a second job. I worked at The Wax Room Salem for my friend Teea two days a week. Fun experience but now that im donee with all my chemo I’m concentrating on my hair business. I’ve Al’s been making myself hats to keep my head warm till my hair grows back. Do this weekend I made Teea and her team some beanies from my old work shirts! Hope they like them!

Another cheep $9.99 wig off Amazon. I make it look more realistic by adding another of my hat creations. Cashmere sweater an old tank top and piece of lace! If you have friends dealing with hair loss from cancer or alopecia I’d be happy to share my experience!
Also if you are cleaning out your closet you can donate your cashmere and wool sweaters my way!

Today my sister came in for a hair makeover. Embracing the grey. I amazed myself and got it done in 5 hours. We stylist understand color correction can take hours or even multiple sessions so getting it done in one session was fabulous!

Ok what a difference eyebrows, some makeup and a wig makes!
The secret to making a cheep wig look great is to wear a hat or headband!

Ok the least flattering picture … I just took off my wig and makeup … and noticed I’m starting to get a faint shadow of hair on my head and brows!!!
