While some of our wands are created by other artists, the wands of The Mystic Collection are all Wynotts originals, carved and stained by Salem wandmakers. Their unique wood grain and singular “twists” ensure that each and every one is unique. Made of real maple, these wands can be considered extremely versatile if you intend to use them to amplify your spellwork.

HOURS AND PAY: Part-time positions begin at $17.50 an hour, with opportunities to grow after your first Halloween season in Salem with us.

DUTIES: You’ll be overseeing our cozy, little wand shop and assisting with ghost tour ticket sales during the festive and fast-paced month of October. Our Wynotts shopkeepers are responsible for handling sales, learning and relaying details about our products, and contributing to a whimsical atmosphere in our store.

REQUIREMENTS: We are committed to ensuring this work is accessible to all candidates 19 or older! Previous retail experience is wonderful, but not necessary; this is a great place to begin your career in sales. And it’s an asset, but not a requirement, if you have previous experience/interest in live performance and improvisation🎭. This is a forward-facing job ideal for fun-loving chatterboxes who enjoy being the life of the party. You can expect high-energy crowds during “Spooky Season” and a friendly team of creative colleagues to support you!

Made of real, Cassia Evergreen, these wands are extremely durable and boast the most intricate pommels in our shop. Each has a unique and beautiful grain ranging from medium to dark brown that can be straight, wavy, or interlocked, ensuring that no two wands are alike. This wood has a coarse texture and a dazzling natural luster and we are absolutely obsessed!
