Hermiston Melons are now in season! Hermiston is famous for growing Melons here in Oregon. Local melon season means sweeter taste and fresh watermelon and cantaloupe. Buying a Hermiston Melon also means your supporting Oregon Agriculture! These Watermelon and Cantaloupe are great for social gatherings, BBQ's, fruit salad, or as a snack. They are especially great on a warm day. Stop by and pick up some local Cantaloupe and Watermelon! 🍈🍉

It's Peach Season! 🍑 It's our favorite time of summer, peaches from our Orchard. Red Haven Peaches from our Orchard are now available. Red Haven are a popular variety with great flavor; they are a cling peach, so not ideal for canning. Starting next week, we'll also have Flaming Fury Peaches from our Orchard. Nothing beats sweet, delicious local peaches! You can also find them as a topping for Shortcakes at our Shortcake Stand. Make sure to get fresh local Peaches this weekend!

What's not to love about Cherries? They have antioxidants, fiber, and Vitamin C. Cherries come in many varieties, each with their own great flavor. Their applications are versatile, from a great fresh eating snack, to fruit salad, baked desserts, and more! Make sure to get some fresh local Cherries while in season. They'll be gone before you know it!

Who's ready for pickling cucumbers? Pickling cucumbers are in season now! These versatile little cucumbers are of course great for pickling. Pickle them whole, in spears, or in chips. We also have fresh dill w**d, garlic, and pickling salt for your pickling needs. They are also great for fresh eating. Enjoy a fresh cucumber as a snack, add it to a salad, or turn them into Tzatziki. What's your favorite way to eat pickling cucumbers? Pickled or fresh?
The pickling cucumbers are currently $2.09/lb, $46.99/25lb bag. Please call ahead if you would like Gherkins. We get the Gherkins in per order, please call a few days ahead of when you'll need them. Sometimes there is a waiting list for Gherkins.

We will have a sampling this Friday, July 12th, from 12:00-4:00 with local winery Sass vineyards. They will be sampling their Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir. It can be hard to know what wine to get if you haven't tried it before. Don't miss this opportunity to sample a local vineyard and find the wine that fits your tastes.
Must be 21+ to participate in the sampling.

Walla Walla Onions are in season! These sweet onions are great for grilling, BBQ, cooking, and on sandwiches. Eating sandwiches this weekend due to the heat? Add a slice of some Walla Walla Onion. Or even try a Walla Walla onion sandwich. These onions are also great in salads. Another great meal choice during this hot weather. Local, delicious, and versatile! This is a great weekend for pie! Whether you want to make it from scratch at home or pick up an already baked one we've got you covered. We've got 7 berry varieties in season right now, the newest addition being Boysenberries. Currently there are local Blueberries, Strawberries, Raspberries, Marionberries, Loganberries, Obsidian Blackberries, and the Boysenberries. Use just one berry or a mixture to make a delicious summer Berry pie. If you don't feel like heating up the house on this hot weekend. Marionberries, Oregons favorite berry is now in season! Just in time for the 4th of July. These crowd favorite berries are sweet and tart, with a great Blackberry flavor. You can make all sorts of tasty desserts with them for your 4th of July gatherings. We at E.Z. Orchards also love Marionberries, which is why we have our own label of Marionberry Preserves.
Marionberries are currently $4.19/pint, $12.55/Quart 1.5, and $45.25/Flat+$1.50 deposit. The price of Marionberries is subject to change through the summer season.

Loganberries are in! We are getting into the thick of berry season. We currently have Obsidian Blackberries, Blueberries, Strawberries, Raspberries, and of course Loganberries. All are local and delicious. Loganberries are a mix of European Raspberries and North American Blackberries. The berry has the striking red color of a Raspberry but the build of a Blackberry. They are great for fresh eating and especially delicious in jams and desserts.

Who loves Cherries? 🍒 They are currently in season and coming from Hood River. We have Rainier and Dark Cherries available. Did you know that Salem is called the Cherry City? Salem used to have hundreds of acres of Cherries and a Cherry Festival each year. The last Salem Cherry Festival was held in the 1950s. That's why our city busses are called Cherriots.

We are excited to share that this year the farm to fork dinners are returning! We will have two farm to fork dinners this summer July 27th and August 17th.
If you haven't joined us at a farm to fork dinner before they are a delicious and fun social event to attend. You will be seated at an elegant long table set for 80 guests in one of our apple orchards. Enjoy a delicious and beautiful meal from the bounty of the Willamette Valley, prepared by local chefs. With a wealth of local and seasonal produce, high quality Willamette Valley wines, and the best cooking and serving talent the area has to offer, E.Z. Orchards aims to highlight all of the best culinary elements of the Willamette Valley and surrounding areas. The dinner will consist of 5 courses, each paired with a cider or wine. Dinner will start at 6:00PM, and meet at the Lavender Garden by our Shortcake Stand.
Who will the chefs be? Join us for the July 27th Farm to Fork dinner to enjoy a meal prepared by Chef Carly Blue from The Blue Pomegranate. Carly Blue and Blue Pomegranate focus on the art of hospitality, creating inexplicable moments at the dinner table. If you join us on August 17th for the Farm to Fork dinner you will enjoy a meal prepared by Dustin Joseph from Biscuit and Pickles. Dustin Joseph and Biscuit and Pickle focus on culinary freedom and the celebration of food.

The Shortcake Stand is open! Today, May 22nd, is the first day of the 2024 Shortcake season. Local strawberries are in season and make a perfect topping for fresh strawberry shortcake. Fresh local strawberries are also available for other menu items: sundaes, milkshakes, smoothies, slushies, and more. Make sure to stop by and get your first shortcake of the season!

The Shortcake Stand has the same hours as the Market. Monday-Friday 9:00-6:00, Saturday 9:00-5:00, and closed Sundays. The Market and the Shortcake Stand will be open regular hours on Memorial Day (May 27th). More Shortcake toppings like Mixed Berry and Peach will be available later this summer.

The attic sale starts today! Make sure to come check out these beautiful items at a great price. Today they are 40% off their marked price. Tomorrow 50% off, and Monday 60% off. The last attic sale we had was 6 years ago, so don't miss out on it. There are all sorts of items in the sale: wall art, vases, kitchenware, seasonal decor, and more!

Local Strawberries are here! 🍓 They are some of the first Strawberries of the year. These Strawberries are the Albion variety; and they have great flavor. The price will vary throughout the season, and as these are the first Strawberries the price is a little high. The Strawberries are currently $4.99/pint, $15.89/Qt 1.5, $56.99/flat.
We do not have a set opening date yet for the Shortcake Stand. It will most likely open next week. We will post on social media, and update our website when the Shortcake Stand opens.

Later this week, we will have an attic sale here at the Market. It is an opportunity to move some slower moving items here at the market. Similar to a garage sale, these items will be discounted, and each day the sale goes on, they will get further discounted. However, many of these items only have one left. So, if you wait until the last day of the sale, that one item you want might be gone. The sale will include: artwork, vases, seasonal decor, kitchenware, and more.

The Attic Sale will be on 5/17, 5/18, 5/20, and if there are any items left 5/21. On Friday 5/17 all items will be 40% off. On Saturday 5/18 all items will be 50% off. On Monday 5/20 all items will be 60% off. If there are any items left on Tuesday 5/21 they will be 70% off.

Tomorrow is a sampling day! We will have One Fork Farms and Epiphany Balsamics out to sample tomorrow. Epiphany Balsamics has caramelized balsamic vinegar along with infused grape seed oil. We have carried Epiphany Balsamics for many years! A new company we are excited to work with is One Fork Farm. They make soft and chewy caramels in many delicious flavors!
