Hilda Rangel - Medial Assistant

Hilda has been a Medical Assistant for ten years. She started employment at Salem Midwives for one year. Hilda then worked for Quijano Family Practice for 4.5 years. She then worked for Stayton family practice for four years. Hilda is excited to return back to the Salem Community. She really enjoys working at JD Health and Wellness because of the positive family atmosphere.
She also acts as a liaison with the providers, other doctor’s offices and hospitals Assist provider in examination of patients and give instructions to patients as directed by the provider. She promotes and restores patients’ health by maintaining the day-to-day operation of the patient care area; assisting support staff; working with the clinic provider to assure physical and psychological support for patients at the level for which she is trained.
Hilda speaks English and Spanish fluently.

Dr. Smith is a family naturopathic physician committed to engaging each patient in his or her own journey to great health using a holistic approach. She works with adults and children and particularly enjoys working with men’s health issues and prevention, in general. Trained in herbal medicine, homeopathy, IV nutrient therapy , medication management and clinical nutrition, she is able to counsel and guide her patients through the process of reclaiming their health. She lives happily ever after with her awesome husband, 2 young children, Boston terrier and African grey parrot in Vancouver, WA. She loves to cook and hang out with her family, road trips, listening to great music, painting with acrylic on canvas, and enjoys the outdoors.
