Take a look at our numbers from August: 78 of those medical appointments were sports physicals done on-site at our very own Parrish Middle School and McKay High School!

Did you know sports physicals do not have a billing code in insurances? We are grateful to our providers who gave their time to provide sports physicals for free to our local students!

We're here to be the safety net for those who need help, but can't access care otherwise. Appointments can be made by calling 503-990-8772, tell anyone who does not have insurance, or struggling to find care any other way.

On Saturday many people joined us for our 12th Annual "Run for Salem Free Clinics". It was a sunny morning and a great success-- all thanks to our fabulous community! We raised over $50,000 with the help of 418 in-person and virtual participants, 50 volunteers, and many community partners and sponsors.

All funds raised from this event goes directly to providing FREE medical, dental, and counseling services to those who need it in our community.

Salem Free Counseling Clinic's Boundaries group starts next week! Give them a call to sign up now! 503-689-1585

Salem Free Counseling Clinics is putting on a weekly group counseling session covering "Boundaries" and the many topics revolving around them. The group is FREE to join and will meet every Wednesday night from 5:30-6:30pm starting on May 29th; less than two weeks away! Send Kirsten an email at [email protected] to join the group, and spread the word to anyone who may be interested. Since May is Mental Health Awareness month, we encourage everyone to check in on those around you.

Here is a look into how April went at the clinic! Last month, our counseling clinic was busy and provided almost double the amount of hours they provided in March! We are overjoyed to have this partnership with Corban University's Graduate Counseling Program that allows us to provide free counseling appointments. We are so thankful for all they do!

Mental Health plays a vital role in overall health, and in a busy life, we often forget that. In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, we want to encourage our followers to check in on your loved ones and yourself. Do something to improve your mental health, such as improving sleep, spending time in nature, or booking a counseling appointment, which can be FREE through Salem Free Counseling Clinics. You can also join the group counseling group covering the topic of Boundaries, outlined in our previous post!

🎉We heard it's National Volunteer Week, and we have lots of amazing volunteers to brag about! SFC only exists because of our 200+ volunteers, and we appreciate every single one of you. In 2023, our volunteers provided over 18,000 hours of service totaling over $1,000,000 of donated time. WOW! We can't thank you all enough for your kindness and commitment to our community!
