The Sweet Heavy is an alternative pop/rock power trio birthed in Telluride, CO. They build upon thick and percussive rhythm grooves and driving guitar and synth layers, topped with melodic vocals. Influenced by rock, funk and jam, they come to life at live performances with ferocious energy. Their bassist, Chris Harden, has played on our stage before, alongside Cousin Curtiss, and we loved seeing him play. So we’re pumped to have him back with his new project and are really looking forward to hearing this band rock our taproom. The show starts this Saturday at 7pm.

The Mojo Birds are a Durango based six-piece electric flock of songwriters and their website describes their music as "Funky Modern Roots Music, think The Band, a touch of Al Green and a healthy dose of Afro-Peruvian Mojo". That sounds like something we can get behind and we feel lucky to have them coming to Tres Litros. They have some big venues on their summer schedule, as well as some festivals and even some dates on the East coast, so you’re going to want to make sure not to miss this one. We think it will be worth showing up early so that you hear everything they have to offer. Their show starts this Friday at 7pm. We hope to see you there.

It's only a week away from the return of Jesse Cotton Stone to our stage. We are bringing Jesse in for a weekday show while he’s in Colorado since we all had such a great time with him on FIBARK Thursday. Influenced by Junior Kimbrough, Jesse thrives on playing the hill country blues of northern Mississippi. Check out his albums wherever you prefer to stream music to hear his guitar playing and soulful voice. You won't want to miss this live performance, its one hell of a show from a self-proclaimed “Blues Guitarist from Hell”

Alternative People is a jam-fusion quartet that ascends the stratosphere with their cosmic sounds, creating original music that comes from the fourth dimension and performing a wide range of cover songs.  Their sound fuses the musical elements influenced by funk, metal, rock, bluegrass, hip-hop, and beyond.  This group has spent multiple years building their groovy sound that moves from entrancing beats to rhythmic melodies and beyond.  Alternative People’s improvisational style weaves together a multitude of genres to create a truly unique sound where no two shows are ever the same.  They formed in 2018 in Gunnison creating sounds together adjacent to the local Taco Bell. We missed them when they had to cancel their show in March and made sure we got them back on the calendar as soon as we could, because we really love seeing them. The show starts this Saturday at 7pm. 🥦

Returning for the second time, this five piece string band is coming to us from Taos. They’ve played all around New Mexico, Colorado as well as many other states. They’ve played lots of bluegrass festivals and are slated to play many more this year. They blur the line between traditional bluegrass roots music and more contemporary styles and are pushing their way to the forefront of the New Mexico bluegrass scene. We had a blast when they came to Salida in January to play a show for us and have been looking forward to having them back ever since. The show starts this Friday at 7pm.

We are hosting an event with The Colorado Trail Foundation on Tuesday, July 16th at 4:30pm. It is a celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the trail and Hit The Trail Pale Ale will be flowing from our taps. We are proud to have initiated this campaign with the Foundation to raise money for the trail and inviting other Colorado breweries to join, of which 15 other breweries answered the call. We're on our second batch of Hit The Trail Pale Ale and we switched up the dry hops slightly this time to create some subtle differences from the first batch. Make sure to come out and try this batch, while also supporting our great state's most famous trail. Thanks again to Inland Island Yeast, Billy Goat Hop Farms and Proximity Malt for offering discounted ingredients for all partipating breweries and allowing this beer to be brewed with all Colorado ingredients. Cheers, now go Hit The Trail.

One of our favorite bands is coming back to play for us yet again. At The Watertower is a Denver-based band full of great guys that take pride in making sure people have a great time. They'll play us a bunch of originals and mix in a lot of cool covers ranging from Americana, Folk, Rock, Bluegrass and even some rap songs. Trust us, you'll be entertained and they love it when they have a dancing crowd in front of them. Come show them some love. The show starts at 7pm, this Saturday after

Moonstone Quill is a high-energy four piece string band out of Summit County that plays Bluegrass, Folk, Country, and Rock styles to an audience of dedicated fans. In 2023, they were voted Best Band in the Summit Daily 2023 Best of Summit Contest, so we’re excited to have them play our stage. This will be their Salida debut and we’re stoked that it’ll be in our taproom. We hope y’all will come show them how much Salidans love bluegrass music. Bring your dancing shoes, these guys put on a fast-paced show.

A new batch of Ride-N-Shine just hit the taps yesterday, and as you can tell, we're excited about that. The recent batch was so well-received and we got so many requests to keep it on, that we decided to make another batch already. This Grapefruit IPA is a super refreshing and tasty summer beverage. Ride in to get some of this batch while you can, it will probably go fast again. 🚴‍♂️

The music of the Grateful Dead is what Easy Jim plays. And they play it like no other. Not only do they play the hits and most-loved Dead tunes, they also tackle some of the more difficult and obscure titles from the Dead’s deep catalog. We’re always stoked to have them come over from Crested Butte and Gunnison to play for us. If you love the Grateful Dead, you simply can’t miss this band, each show is a different setlist and that keeps us always wanting more. Thank you to our co-sponsors for the show, Antero Sciences. Come hang, the music starts at 8pm this Saturday. 🌹💀⚡

Joining us for the fourth time in the taproom is Split Window. With this band, you can always expect a mix of funk, jazz, blues and folk songs. They have the most number of people we’ve had on our stage and with that, they bring a big sound. Come out to dance to their music and return the energy that they’re sure to bring. We're going a bit later than usual with this show since its the holiday weekend. The show starts at 8pm, this Friday.

Mamma’s Marmalade is a bluegrass band from Massachusetts. This foursome has traveled out from the East Coast for a Colorado tour and we feel lucky to have them perform on our stage for the first time. We are really excited to have a band of this caliber come through and play a show for us. Some members of this band have been playing together since 2016 and added their fourth and final member in 2023. They’ve put out four albums so far and plan to get another one out into the world this summer. We think you’ll really like this band and we hope you come check them out.

We love this duo and we can't wait to have them back on our stage for the fifth time. Multi-instrumentalist Gordon loops the sounds of guitar, drums, saxophone, melodica, among others and Grace plays beautifully along on her violin. The genres they play range from European style folk and jazz to American style blues and jam. They're super talented musicians and even nicer people, so come show them some love and let them feed off of your dancing energy. The show starts this Friday at 7pm.

🚨New Seltzer Alert 📢 The next installment of our Basic Hard Seltzer series is crafted to mimic another classic cocktail, the Mojito. Its got a slightly hazy mojito color, a aromas of ripe lime that leads to a refreshing mint finish. This high carbonated beverage has a thin mouthfeel and the light sweetness balances the acidity and mint flavors. It finishes dry with lasting notes of lime. You gotta try it, it's very refreshing on these hot summer days. As always, its made with real fruit puree. 5.0% ABV and Gluten Free

Tiffany Christopher and Mollie Fischer hardly need an introduction anymore, they've become regular acts on our stage, and all around Salida, for that matter. They put on such a varied and entertaining show that we're always pumped when they're coming up on our live music calendar. Expect a lot of fun covers, as well as a bunch of originals, and most likely with some hip-hop thrown in for good measure. Will there by an appearance by ? We hope so, but you'll have to come see for yourself. The show starts this Saturday at 7pm.

06/17/2024

Who is ready for some surf rock? This Denver based band will be gracing our stage for the second time and we're stoked to have some surf vibes to get down to. Hula Hound is Denver's number one purveyor of the breakaway genre of Continental Surf, they've been working hard on the island sounds, and rock sounds, and funk sounds, and the in between sounds for four years. You all know how much of a surf town Salida is turning into with last year’s addition of the Scout Wave to the whitewater park and the opening of Badfish Surf Shop right next door. Come check out this band and show them how much Salida likes to party.

Father's Day is only a few days away, have you gotten Dad anything yet? How about a crowler, or get him what he really wants, a spot at his favorite bar with a loaded up gift card.

06/12/2024

We now carry Unity Vibration Kombucha in the taproom for anyone (21 years old and above) who doesn't like beer, or can't consume gluten. There are four flavors available and we think you'll like them. Give them a try and let us know what you think. Cheers

06/11/2024

We have another bluegrass band coming your way and these guys are returning to us for a third time. They've played a few great shows for us, once last spring and one this past January, so we wanted to bring them back because they're always a fun time. Expect some covers and some originals from this three piece band and don't forget your dancing shoes cause they aim to have everyone on their feet.

06/11/2024

We're so proud of playing the main stage during the biggest festival of the year in Salida. Way to go boys. We'll see you for some late night shows after the music in the park winds down each night. Cheers

The band I’ve been playing with for over 10 years, Big Horn, were invited to play Fibark this year! We are very excited to perform for everyone. We’ll go on at 5:30 this Thursday, June 13th. Free admission Thursday night, all ages show. Local favorites, Roundhouse Assembly, playing after us at 8pm! Make sure to check out the rest Fibark music lineup!

Tres Litros Beer Co. is also hosting an incredible collection of bands playing throughout the weekend including Jesse CottonStone, The Skinny, Christian Porter and Sun Jr. ! We’ll of course be slinging that curry!

Look forward to seeing all your beautiful faces, cheers!

06/10/2024

For FIBARK Saturday this year, we decided to do a double-booking because we love live music and want to share as much as possible with all of our patrons. Starting off the night will be Christian Porter, who played a solo show on our stage in February. This singer/songwriter and producer appeared as a contestant on Season 4 of NBC’s The Voice and his previous show for us was very impressive, so we’re honored to have him back. Christian will then make way for the reigning champions of FIBARK weekend, Sun Jr. They’ve played our stage the last two FIBARK weekends and we’re super excited to have them back again this year. If you've missed any of the times these guys have played our stage, this is your chance to see one of the most unique bands to play in Salida. They’ve gained a ton of notoriety, new fans and accolades in the past year. They have a busy summer of shows and festivals, so we’re pumped to get them on our stage for you all. They're psychedelic, jammy, rocking, and folksy all in one, and should not be skipped. As a personal staff favorite, we'd love it for you all to come check them out. They’ll be playing into the late hours of Saturday night.

06/09/2024

Front Range Funk is what The Skinny brings, and we're thankful they do, because we have a lack of funky bands that come through town. These guys are legit and if you saw either of their shows last year in the taproom, you know they aren't to be missed. We sure are excited to have them back on our stage, especially since we had to pivot to another band for their show scheduled in April. We hope they’re as excited to get back on the schedule as we are to have them. The show will start at 8:30 on Friday. See ya there.

06/08/2024

Jesse Cotton Stone is coming back to us again this summer. He rips and so does his band. Jesse played for us four times in the last two summers, so if you saw him, you know how great he is. Influenced by Junior Kimbrough, Jesse thrives on playing the hill country blues of northern Mississippi. Check out his albums wherever you prefer to stream music to hear his guitar playing and soulful voice. Since it is weekend, we have an extended curfew, so this will be a late night set (9pm-midnight) on Thursday after the music in Riverside Park. You won't want to miss this live performance.
