The Point

Dear Salina Community,

It is with great sadness that we inform you that the city commission has decided to deny the permit we needed to continue hosting our events at The Point. This means that, for now, we will not be able to hold our karaoke nights, themed parties, comedy nights, or our beloved ice cream movie nights on our covered patio.

We know these events have been a gathering place for many of you and have helped strengthen the bonds within our community. Decisions like this are made without considering the youth of Salina, and it’s these kinds of decisions that will prevent Salina from growing as a city.

We did everything we could to comply with regulations and address everyone’s concerns, but unfortunately, the decision was not in our favor.

We sincerely appreciate the incredible support we’ve received from all of you. From those who attended the hearing to those who signed our petitions or sent letters on our behalf. This is not the end of our journey, and we will continue working to find ways to move forward and serve our community.

We will keep offering our delicious ice cream rolls and exploring new ways to keep the spirit of The Point alive. Stay tuned to our social media for updates, and please continue to support us during this challenging time.
