We are currently recruiting to hire Crew Leaders and Lead Finishers with excellent skills and experience in the concrete/construction business.

You will be responsible for the following:
• Builds, erects and aligns concrete structures and platforms for various purposes.
• Removing existing concrete and replacing bad fill with gravel underneath the concrete. Shooting grade, form, grade and pour.

You must Have:
• Excellent skills
• Excellent work ethic
• Ability to organize and clean tools, equipment, and materials and stay busy during the workday
• Be able to work well with your boss and coworkers.

We offer:
• Competitive wages and benefits (some of which may be negotiable for an excellent candidate)
• Housing for out-of-town candidates or those looking to relocate to the Saline area (Saline boasts a high standard of living, superior school system, and peaceful environment)

Midwest Construction is in the Ann Arbor/Saline area. We are a stable and growing company in business for many years looking for skilled and dependable talent to round out our growing team.
We are currently recruiting to hire a Crew Leaders and Lead Finishers with excellent skills and experience in the concrete/construction business. WE NEED STRONG CREW LEADERS AND LEAD FINISHERS.
You will be responsible for the following:
• Builds, erects and aligns concrete structures and platforms for various purposes.
• Removing existing concrete and replacing bad fill with gravel underneath the concrete. Shooting grade, form, grade and pour..
• 40-70 hours per week (work is outside and inside; therefore, full weeks are normal).

Skills and Specifications
• Knowledge of the standard methods, materials, tools and equipment used in concrete construction and maintenance.
• Knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions applicable to the work.
• Skilled in the use and care of hand and small power tools associated with the work.
• Must be able to stand and/or be on their feet 10-12 hours / day
• Must be able to work in outdoor weather and/or unregulated temperatures for 10-12 hours / day

Education and Qualifications
• 2+ years experience Industrial or General Contracting Concrete Work
• May substitute education and qualifications for high level of skill, work ethic and experience.

You must Have

• Be able to work well with your boss and coworkers.
