We have 13 convenient locations in Salisbury, Princess Anne, Berlin, and Pocomoke City, Maryland.

Please welcome Ryan Richardson, LMSW, our newest addition to the team as a Mental Health Therapist.
Ryan brings a wealth of experience and education to our team, having earned a Bachelorβs degree in Social Work from Salisbury University and another Bachelorβs degree in Sociology from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. He furthered his expertise with a Masterβs degree in Social Work from Salisbury University.
Prior to joining us, Ryan interned as a school-based therapist at the Worcester County Health Department and served as a Psychiatric Rehabilitation Worker there. His background and dedication make him a valuable addition to our behavioral health care team in Salisbury.

Avian Flu Update: What You Need to Know
The CDC reports that H5N1 bird flu is widespread in wild birds globally, causing outbreaks in poultry and U.S. dairy cows. There has been one recent human case in a dairy worker. While the current public health risk remains low, CDC is closely monitoring the situation and working with states to track people with animal exposures. No person-to-person spread has been reported.
Protective Actions for People:
π Avoid direct contact with wild birds; observe them from a distance.
π If you find a dead bird, avoid contact and report it.
π Avoid exposure to infected live or dead animals.
π If working with infected dairy cattle, take precautions.
π Follow safe food handling practices.
π Stay informed about travel recommendations.

Ms. Malla brings a wealth of experience and expertise to our behavioral health care team in Berlin. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona, and a Master of Science in Nursing - Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Frontier Nursing University in Versailles, Kentucky.
Before joining Chesapeake Health Care, Ms. Malla served as a Registered Nurse at TidalHealth Peninsula Regional, where she excelled as the Outpatient Clinical Nurse for the behavioral health Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP).

Chesapeake Health Care is delighted to announce the addition of Tracy Grupp to our team as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner.
Ms. Grupp received an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from Wor-Wic Community College and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Stevenson University. Ms. Grupp also received her Master of Science in Nursing Practice from Maryville University.
Before joining the team at Chesapeake Health Care, Ms. Grupp was a Nurse Practitioner at Peninsula Nephrology Associates where she provided a range of primary, acute, and specialty health care services.
