Mythic Events

It is with GREAT sadness that we are having to put all events on hold for the time being. We thought we’d make our July 26th Bilbo event but we have had some HUGE issues come up with our event venue which have pushed back our finish date of the space and honestly we aren’t sure when it will be ready now. Yay for city requirements! We wanted everyone to know as soon as possible so plans aren’t made to attend and then we have to cancel last minute. We would HATE to do that to you all. You all have been so great to us and so we wanted to make sure we are upfront with you all instead of cancelling last minute. So we have decided until we are FOR SURE about when our space will be done, we will be pausing all events. It could be end of July, it could be August or September. Once it’s finished, we can be more solid in our events and not so up in the air of what is going to happen. All those who got tickets will be refunded and we hope to have good news in the next couple months cause we miss you all!

Ain’t no party like a halfling party!

With recent news of a big event cancelling we just wanted reach out and express our condolences to the guests who have put sooo much effort into cosplays, travel, tickets, etc. for this event. It puts you all in quite a pickle and we are sorry for that. We don’t know if there are many in Utah who were planning on going to this event, but if you were we’d love to invite you to our event Bilbo’s Farewell! Come dance and sing to your hearts content as we celebrate his greatest adventure! In a hole in the ground there lived…well you know the rest. Come celebrate at the local tavern as Bilbo sets off on his final great adventure! Come sing, come dance, come enjoy the live traditional Irish pub music, come enjoy the mocktails, and who knows, you might run into an elf or two. Bilbo’s requested himself that we do the halfling hop before the nights end. For those that don’t know this joyous jig, we will have a quick instruction before letting it all out on the dance floor. Important notice!
A change of events is happening! With now having our own event space we are switching our event theme from “Off With Her Head” to Bilbo’s Farewell and having it at our own space called The Hearth in SLC. We are so excited for this theme change and hopefully you all are as well. We are celebrating good ole Bilbo as he says farewell and embarks on his biggest adventure. Throughout the night there will be lots of jolly music, dancing with a special dance instruction for one of Bilbos favorite jigs, mocktails, and of course food! Say hello to supper! Bilbo will also be choosing the next ring bearer himself before the nights end. He would like ALL the inhabitants of Middle Earth to attend. He hopes you all will attend! Who knows, we might just have some important people show up 😉.

Know someone who has acting experience? Maybe you are that someone? We are casting all roles for our upcoming wonderland themed murder mystery. Improv is a must! All actors will be paid and fed. All roles are 18+ and will be needed for one “rehearsal” day. You will be the ones carrying the story along and helping guests try and solve whodunnit! Tickets for our next event are going live 12/15/23!!! THIS WEEKEND! Early bird pricing will be going on for just two weeks and then will bump up to regular pricing. We are days away!!! Here’s what to expect. The event starts at 7pm. You will go through check in where we will check any props you might have brought, bags you have, and ask that you have any masks off for check in. VIP’s will be directed to the red carpet and general ticket holders will be directed through general entry. Once inside we will have vendors for you to check out including taste testing from our sponsor , roaming performers, drinks/finger foods, a fortune teller, stilt walkers, a costume contest, quest, and will end the night with our after party dance party! VIP’s, after you walk the carpet you will get your mocktail and then sit down for your catered dinner. After that, you may roam and enjoy the night.

We have a few paid waitstaff positions open for event night! This is a temporary position and will only be for the first few hours of the event. If you know of someone interested have them DM us to apply.
Pay: $25/per
Age: 18+
Details: Must have a formal attire to wear to the event. You will be helping care for and serve the VIP guests, clean up tables, stock/restock drinks/food as needed. Must be available from 6:30pm to 8:30pm on October 20th. Event is at the Utah state capitol building. This is a temporary contract position for the one night only.

General Add On’s!
This weekend we will have our general ticket add ons for those that also want to walk the red carpet, pose for the paparazzi and get an awesome video in our “glambot”! Stay tuned!

The theme for the Met Ghoula is GLAM HORROR! Please plan your fits appropriately to fit the theme. That can be anything Halloween, horror, thriller but make it fashion. We can’t wait to see all your fits!

COSTUME CONTEST!
We also will be having a costume contest! Stay tuned for more details! We will be having a submission with your costume and then picking who make it to the walk round. We will then be having some judges to determine a winner for the night!

We are completely sold out of VIP tickets!! We will continue to sell general tickets till the day before the event or until sold out. For all VIP’s we will soon be asking about any food allergies as you all get a catered dinner. We will try and cater to all allergies as best as we can. We can’t wait to see you all at another amazing event!

May 4th is right around the corner! We are so excited to bring a cantina atmosphere to this day! We wanted to do something different for this great day and now it’s here! We are in need of some amazing volunteers for our upcoming May 4th celebration! Volunteers get 2 free tickets to a future event of your choice plus get to enjoy the event for free! Keep an eye out for a mysterious hooded figure who is carrying quite the important message for the rebels. This very message might just be the thing to turn the tides into the rebels favor! He MUST pass on the message before he is found out and put in prison or worse killed. There will be various characters trying to get the message. Unfortunately if they are seen with him it will give him away and get them thrown in prison as well. They need your help! The message is set to be passed on May 4th at the Tadmor Cantina.
