Love & Advice to all of you, my co-mother’s, co-wives, and co-women from Auntie Randee (&Company): Long, but worth reading to the very end😜!

My dear friends: As a gift, home, fashion retail owner and operator for over 30 years, I have sincerely admired the true love, care and concern your husbands and children (young and old) have as they carefully choose your Mother’s Day gift. It is beautiful, really! During the past weeks, dad’s have brought their children in to hand-pick something special that (you) mom and grandma will REALLY love!! Dads seem to realize that the actual gift isn’t what really matters, rather the act of your child selecting something they think you’ll love that comes from them—to YOU!
We realize you may not have DREAMED to be the new owner of purple slime, but your child just KNEW you’d adore it because purple is THEIR favorite color!!😛
Husbands come in feeling quite overwhelmed (we can tell by the wide-open and glazed look in their eyes)! They often completely shut down by just glancing at the many choices available, none of which make much sense to their masculine brains!😛They often seem full of trepidation and fear, then say, “Everyone tells me if I’ll go to Randee’s to buy her gift, she’s sure to love it!” 🤣🤣❤️❤️
He asks us many questions, and seeks out our advice and opinions in order to choose that “perfect” gift” that shows how much he loves and adores you).
We SEE first hand, time and time again, year after year, how carefully he selects your gift. He is nervous whether you’ll like it...or not! He cares. We promise.

Now, mothers, wives, grandma’s, and all women: With my deepest love, and respect, I, Auntie Randee have some very important words of advice for you!
You can heed my valuable advice, or you can be wrong😝(that is your choice). But here it is!
Choose to have a great Mother’s Day!!
1-Open your carefully wrapped gift with a beautiful smile on your face, and a twinkle in your eye!
2-Look your child, husband, grandchild, etc in the eyes and sincerely thank them! They chose this gift for you for a reason. What is that reason? Look for it! Be grateful and kind. A big hug is the best reaction at this moment, and will make them adore you even more!! They will never forget how your reaction, positive or negative, made them feel. If you want gifts of love, the most Important thing you can do is love your gift!
3-Maybe the gift they chose for you isn’t much to your liking. We all have different tastes, after all, and that is okay. But....This is NOT the time to act like ungrateful or unappreciative. After all, their gift was not wrong, just different.
4-We added gift receipts to your wrapped packages. Of course you are free to return or exchange your gift, especially when he believes you are a much smaller size than you may be😅😅! My husband pretends to think I’m still a size 4. He “forgets” to notice we’ve been married for 39 years+60 pounds)🤣🤣🤣!! Oh, how I love him for that!!
5-If you need to, QUIETLY exchange your gift for the correct size, but we recommend you keep the same color and style. Trust us, they notice and care! Be a beautiful, lovely, and grateful receiver. He will LOVE YOU for that. We promise!
6- Many men say, “I don’t know why I keep trying. She returns my gift every year!” I personally, along with my staff, think that is one of the saddest things we hear in this business. And I believe if you, my women friends, really stopped to think about it, you would realize the damage this truth can cause to your relationships.
7-Do not miss this perfect opportunity to show love, gratitude, and inner beauty to those who surround you and love you deeply.

8-If you remember just one thing, remember this...your most favorite people on this Earth are presenting a gift to you that they hand-picked just for YOU (for whatever reason). IT IS A GIFT. The gift you give back to them is your smile, hug, happy tears, and beauty upon receiving the gift. That is how you show love. And by showing love, you gain love!

Come Monday, I know some gifts will need to be returned. We certainly do understand. But please remember, we saw, first hand, the gift selection process. And we KNOW how much it meant to them to give this gift to you.

I’ve just needed to tell you this for over thirty years. Not out of judgement, but out of a true desire for you to really understand. It matters. And this year, of all years, choose to really SEE why your son, your daughter, your husband, your grandchildren have given this gift to you. It’s absolutely FREE to wear it, or display it proudly, and pays very high dividends when you do!! They will be filled with even deeper love and devotion to you, the most important woman in their world!
Just think about it❤️❤️will you? Your happiness is important to us!

I keep seeing all these posts about trick or treat. Our governor said yesterday we could proceed. But what if we don’t just proceed? How about this year, we all make an effort to make this the best trick or treat these kids have seen? Turn every porch light on. Give away extra candy. Sit in your driveway with a costume on. Decorate your house more. Play music. Be extra spooky. Buy the BIG candy bars. Go as far as to set up a drink station for adults (we like trick or treat too). Give away hot chocolate. Make every house a party! Don’t get mad that there are kids from other neighborhoods showing up. (They may not live in an area that has trick or treat) And for Pete’s sake let the kids who may be older come and have something normal that they can enjoy. So many of these kids are struggling for some normalcy in their lives just as much as the adults. This is the year to just LET THEM BE KIDS! This is such a small way we can help some kids feel like kids again! ❤️ 🍁🎃🍬🍁
