3 Ways to Celebrate The Groom

1. Incorporate his personality into his suit! An original suit idea, whether it is the entire suit or inside the suit jacket give the groom a fun opportunity for self expression.

2. A statement decoration or multiple statement decorations. This Vespa was such a fun way to show the groom’s cool side. Vintage cars, motorcycles, a groom cake, a neon sign with his name, or some tasteful ode to his hobbies is always a good idea.

3. Creative solo portraits! Include extra time with the groom in your timeline to capture unique moments beyond the standard “groom shots”.

What is the best beach you’ve ever been to? What did you love about it?

I have a goal to visit new seaside locations because I just adore them so much! The sound of the waves and the aesthetic of the water never gets old for me.

SHADOWS.

As a photographer, I focus a lot of the magic of light. In my portfolio, you’ll mostly see images that reflect my love for angelic, glowing light.

Yet…I love the depth of shadows.

This editorial was photographed in quite a light & airy style but I shot some of the details in this contoured light and I adored the outcome.

From the cake inspired by a statue in a whimsical garden to the invitations inspired by parchment from a romantic diary, this editorial was truly fine art.

This luxurious bridal moment was simply unforgettable.

I’m bidding farewell to 2022 with my favorite image from this beautiful destination wedding in England.

Photographing Colleen in this historic castle in Grantham filled my heart with joy. The moment I took this shot, I was filled with a sense of belonging. I knew I was exactly where I wanted to be. I’d always seen myself photographing international weddings and a castle wedding was on my list of hopes and dreams. 2022 was filled with moments that reminded me how deeply I want to always be in a position where I can pursue my greatest dreams and fulfill my goals.

Colleen and I were able to connect through Utah and after celebrating in England, we returned to Utah to continue the celebration. Utah has always been a place where I find inspiration and connect with people who share my vision. It is the place I began my photography journey and it is the place that I have felt drawn to time and time again as a place to call home.

And that is why I am so happy to announce that I have officially returned to Utah. 🤍 I am so deeply excited to be back!

To the Missouri couples and vendors I connected with during my time there, thank you so much for your trust and talents! I grew so much during my time there and I am so grateful to you all. I’ll be returning for weddings in 2023 and I will serve all weddings booked as planned.

I am so excited to see what 2023 will bring for us all! ✨

I had the absolute pleasure of being the first American to photograph a wedding at this amazing castle in England, Irnham Hall Weddings. It is such an enchanting castle and the grounds were so beautiful in their summer prime. This was truly such a highlight of my summer and of my 2022 wedding season. I can not wait to see England again!

I believe that florals add so much romance, elegance, and life to an image.

The colors, textures, and styles convey so much about the bride and groom, it’s an instant look into their personality!

Your floral choices can instantly elevate your images and they bring in such a high-end element when they are carefully and purposefully arranged.

Flowers are inherently beautiful and so there may be a temptation to think that any arrangement will get the job done.

The incredible Mid-MO | STL Wedding Planner] put this beautiful editorial together at Emerson Fields Midwest Wedding Venue] and it was so much fun! I photographed it the day after returning from an amazing destination wedding in the United Kingdom and I was on such a creative high. The first week of October is so magical! I loved spending it in Utah for wedding and branding shoots. It was so nice to see my amazing family as well, they are such amazing supporters of my creative dreams and I couldn’t do what I do without their support. Now, it’s time to head back to Missouri for a beautiful wedding weekend with !
