Bob Wall was known for his skill in karate as well as appearing in movies, but Bob was also a black belt in judo, earning it under Gene LeBell. He had a “larger than life” personality and was one of the people who shaped karate in America. He will be missed.

Raise money for your School sports teams or community groups.

We are looking for 100 plus people to set up 72 volleyball courts for this USA Volleyball Event in Salt Lake City. We need people to set up March 2-3rd. and breakdown on March 13th. We need teams of 6 people to set up courts, each team will be paid $100 per court set up/breakdown.
We are looking for dedicated people to help set up for this great event.

USA Volleyball The Salt Lake City Showdown Girls Junior National Qualifier is new for 2022 and will take place March 5-7 and March 11-13 at the Salt Palace Convention Center in Utah, part of USA Volleyball’s Intermountain Region.
The event will qualify teams for both the 2022 Girls Junior National Championship and the Girls 18s Junior National Championship.
“Salt Lake is thrilled to have USA Volleyball back in our destination,” said Clay Partain, Managing Director, Sports Salt Lake. “With our new $4.1 billion Salt Lake City International Airport, a vast array of hotel options, award-winning restaurants, and major attractions, the city will be an absolutely perfect backdrop for an amazing event.”
“Our state has a rich legacy of hosting elite-level volleyball events,” said Utah Sports Commission President and CEO Jeff Robbins. “We are thrilled to welcome USA Volleyball back to Utah: State of Sport.”
The Salt Lake City Showdown will be one of the 12 qualifiers around the country for the 2022 USA Volleyball Girls Junior National Championship, which will be in Indianapolis on June 23-July 4, and one of the 16 qualifiers for the USA Volleyball Girls 18s Junior National Championship, which will be in Phoenix on April 22-24.
“We have been working to make sure teams have plenty of opportunities around the country to qualify for Nationals,” said USAV Events Director Kristy Cox. “We look for the Salt Lake City Showdown to become a premier event on the USAV calendar and know that the city will be a great destination for our athletes and fans.”

USA Wrestling's Tamyra Mensah-Stock is breaking barriers.

Had breakfast with one of my best students this morning. Super K, he and his family lived in DUBAI for a year and returned to salt Lake this week. Super K did judo at Zenbei for a couple years and developed into a great student and young man.
Unfortunately, they are moving to Minnesota. It was great to see you and your family today.
I wish you guys all the best in Minnesota.

Wow, they are all in high school and and college now! It was great teaching them martial arts. We are better off with them contributing positively in our communities.

My best team for several years! They are all great kids, age range from middle school to college now.

They have developed into great young men through the martial art of judo.

We will be resuming classes in the fall. Kids and adults of all ages and abilities are welcome.
