In the first installment of ‘The Slow Down’ we join Salt Lake climber Ari Menitove climbing a rope solo circuit around the Green Adjective Gully in Little Cottonwood Canyon.
Rope soloing is Ari’s way of Combating “Busy Adult Life Syndrome” (BALS); allowing him the time to hone his skills and practice his mindset and philosophy of climbing.
Tune in Thursday, June 23rd, for the first episode of The Slow Down. An attempt to capture stories off the beaten path of pop-climbing culture; tries to focus on the slower moments and soul of moving over the stone, and being in the mountains.

The Delores was a beautiful stretch of river! is located in Mancos, Colorado. Not far from the Animas river, and a quick jump over to Delores makes for a quick run before work easy. Luckily we had a wonderful host to show us around; give us the ins and outs of the gear, and sent us back to the shop with a new perspective! Thanks Garret! If you’re interested in checking these rigs out, we now have several models in the shop!
