Everybody is happy to hear that Kjeld Nuis is in good health after being cleared by medical doctors in Salt Lake City (No hospital name was mentioned) from his unfortunate crash at the conclusion of his 1.000-meter race.
It is still unclear if he will participate at next week's World Cup. We wish him a full and prompt recovery.

Kjeld Nuis houdt niets over aan lelijke val na de finish: ‘Hij maakt het naar omstandigheden goed’ Kjeld Nuis is zondag na zijn rit op de 1.000 meter lelijk ten val gekomen in Salt Lake City. De 34-jarige sprinter raakte na het passeren van de finish een blokje en verloor zijn balans. Met een brancard werd Nuis van het ijs getild. De schade bleek achteraf mee te vallen.
