Spent Thursday afternoon setting up the rest of the George Nelson for Herman Miller CSS pieces.

First there’s a three bay unit with a 48” file cabinet.
Second is a single bay unit with a 32” wide drop down desk, cabinet with sliding doors and paper/record slots.
Third is a single bay with a 48” desk and two shelves.

It is with great sadness that I’m writing this message. Recently I/we lost a friend, a college, an employee, a genuine force of nature and a cohort of The Green Ant;
Jackie Bunnell.

Jackie worked for me for many years on Mondays and when I travelled abroad. She was compassionate about design and display. She always wanted the shop to look its best and she did her damndest to do it! Her Christmas windows were some of the most artistic I’ve ever seen in Salt Lake.

She was a tough no nonsense salesperson but fair at the same time. Many of you will remember this and you will remember her compassion too.
She taught me many things about floor display and life itself for many years. We had are laughs, we had are disagreements. But mostly we had a true friendship.
She lived her life on her terms and she did it well.
One of my favorite quotes from her and words to be pondered for us all was;
“Hope is not a plan.”

You will be missed my friend but will be in my heart forever!
