The truth is that I have the privilege of working with some of the most incredible brides and grooms in the state!! Megan and Matt’s wedding in solitude on Saturday was unbelievably perfect. Guests were signing to my music during dinner (swipe right) which was an indicator that I was doing the right things for this crowd. Everyone also loved our closed photo booth!
Then we danced... super hard!!! 🥂🙌🏼😆

Also, huge shout out to the amazing Lyndi from who is the most talented and FUN photographer out there!

This picture was taken as I gave the opening welcome to 150+ wedding guest. I love being on a microphone in front of large crowds of people, it's incredibly fun and exhilarating!
It also makes me beyond happy to use my enthusiasm and talent as a DJ/MC to help others put on the most unforgettable events of their lives. I've worked really hard to be able to have this type of positive influence on the events that I'm a part of and I'm continually looking for ways to raise the bar to the next level. I love what I do!

This beautiful wedding took place at a winery in Livermore, California. It was a beautiful day. After the ceremony we moved to cocktail hour and then right afterwards we introduced the bridal party into the reception hall. Let's just say that we got everyone pumped to start the celebration due to some incredible introductions of the bridal party. Grand entrances like these are always a fun way to personalize your wedding celebration. Plus, it's a great opportunity to give everyone a taste of how much fun dancing will be after dinner 🙌 ⠀

This picture is from my first gig EVER back in October 2009. It is crazy to think that I've been DJing for almost 10 years. I feel very blessed to be doing something I absolutely love. 💚 💯

This is my view. At this moment, everyone is slow dancing with someone they really care about. It's a great way to let everyone rest from the hard core dancing we've been doing for the last hour and it also gives them a special moment to share with their partner. ⠀

Imagine that, being surrounded by all of your closest family and friends during your first dance. You see the huge smile of your now spouse and behind him/her you see your family and friends with huge smiles as well. First dances, when done right, can be a highlight of the entire wedding. ⠀

Here is a tip for your wedding celebration: The guests at your wedding will gravitate towards whatever area you are in. If you want a packed dance floor then get on out there like this groom! You'll have the time of your life and everyone else will too. I promise ❤️⠀

The dance floor is a magical place but can also be a scary place for many. It can have the ability to let friends and family have the best night of their life or it can make people feel awkward and uncomfortable. What will it be like at your wedding?
I’ll tell you one thing for sure- Hiring a DJ and MC who can connect with your family and friends will make all the difference in the world. This way when the DJ invites people to dance or when the DJ plays a great track others feel it as a comfortable invite from someone they have come to consider a new friend. It’s an invite from the person they have learned to trust will be the moderator of fun. And guess what? Everyone wants to have fun.
So hire a DJ that connects with you and if they do then they’ll connect with those at your wedding. And if they connect with everyone then you can expect the dance floor to be full the entire night 🙂 that’s my ✌🏼cents 🕺🏽 ———-

We filmed at Sleepy Ridge on Saturday for a really cool video project that I’m excited to be a part of. The sunset room is beautiful! 😍

As A DJ there are times during a wedding, like this, where I simply can’t believe how lucky I am to be doing what I do. I get to work with some of the most incredible people on the most important day of their lives. I sometimes have a hard time sleeping after weddings like this because I think back on the incredible, unique, and loving moments that everyone shared that night. Willi and Sarah were surrounded by all of their closest family and friends that flew in from all over the country during the very last song of the night. ❤️ It was unforgettable

Dallin & Kennedi’s wedding is one that I’ll never forget. Of course, the Utah State Capitol is a gorgeous venue and the dance floor that we lit up was pretty cool too but do you want to know what really made it unforgettable? Dallin and Kennedi were 100 % relaxed which helped them have the best and funnest day of their life. Because they were relaxed and having tons of fun (as you can see from Dallin breaking it down on the dance floor) everyone else in turn had a blast too. I like to think of myself as much more than just a DJ and MC. I’m a memory creator, emotions director, and facilitator of fun. 😊💯

Mixing the right music at the right time for the right people is an art I’ve learned over the last 12 years of DJing.

I don’t stick to a rigid playlist at any of my events. I prepare music ahead of time that I think that group or client will love. Then I watch peoples reaction for the first few seconds that each song plays. This immediate reaction gives me tons of insight into what music the group loves. I then explore different styles and genres of music to discover exactly what the majority of people enjoy. That’s how I read the crowd and create truly unique soundtracks.
