I just took some fresh headshots and thought it was the perfect time to reintroduce myself—it's been a minute!
So, hey beautifuls, I am Skye, and I am based out of San Antonio, TX. I started my photography journey when I was quite young. I got my first camera when I was 16, and I started by taking family photos and some portraits. I fell in love with it and dove in headfirst, dedicating any time I had to practice and furthering my knowledge. I did family photos for a while and then got into doing portraits full-time.
One day, I decided to try taking my own bo***ir photos. I had no experience or knowledge of it but thought I’d give it a shot. Afterward, I felt so confident and fell in love with myself and my body. Once I started working with clients and heard how empowered and beautiful they felt when looking at their photos, I knew I was hooked on the idea of making other women feel the same way!
I believe everyone, no matter their shape or size, deserves to feel amazing in the skin they’re in. My values are rooted in inclusivity and breaking away from societal norms. Whether you’ve never stepped in front of a camera or you’re a seasoned pro, you’re welcome here with open arms. My space is a safe haven for everyone, Let’s celebrate the beauty of marching to the beat of your own drum and embracing who you truly are.
Some fun facts about me:
1. I’m a proud dog mom to three beautiful pups! Zero, my sweet 7-year-old Pitbull, was my first baby. Then there are Zelda and Peach, my Belgian Malinois/Pitbull girls, who will be a year old this October—they’re actually from the same litter!
2. I’m engaged to my high school sweetheart. We’ve been together for 7 years and are planning to elope instead of having a big wedding.
3. I currently have 7 tattoos, with 2 of them being photography-related (and there’s definitely room for more!).
4. I co-own a boho/chic online boutique called Blue Cloud Boutique ☁️ with my mom. We go live on Facebook every Friday and Sunday, and we’re about to celebrate our first anniversary this October!

Welcome to Skye Rohan Photography ✨
This is the first official post of my new journey of switching my page to Portraits and Bo***ir on Instagram.
You can check out my last post to see my story on why I'm doing this switch.

Long post ahead
I've been a bit MIA on my photography side lately because I've been making some changes. I co-own a boutique with my mom (bluecloudboutique.com), and I've been investing a lot of time in managing the online/backend aspects of that business. Alongside that, I've found myself losing the spark for photography, partly due to burnout from managing social media. It's tough because social media presence is crucial for any business.
Recently, I had a health scare that landed me in the hospital for three days. (Don't worry, I'm okay but still undergoing tests.) During my recovery at home, I've had time to reflect. I realized I lost my passion because I wasn't doing what I truly loved anymore. I've come to accept that my style, motivation, and purpose in photography have evolved as I've gotten older.
I've grown particularly fond of bo***ir photography but hesitated to fully embrace it. Initially, I tried integrating it into my main page, but it felt mismatched alongside my other portraits. So, I created a separate Instagram page for bo***ir, but managing multiple accounts became overwhelming, especially when I was already feeling burnt out.
I reminded myself that photography wasn't just about the money; there was a deeper reason I started this business years ago, and I want to reconnect with that passion. I had to accept that bo***ir and more creative portraits is where I really want to take my business too.
So, I've decided to follow through and find my passion again. I'll be transforming my main Instagram account into mostly bo***ir content because that's where I want the main focus of my business to be. I'll be closing down my other page. Additionally, I'll be using my page to showcase all my portrait work. It might sound unconventional, but I believe it's the right move for my business, based on where past clients have found me.

I haven't announced it yet. But, I have four different photoshoots of mine being featured in a magazine.
I'm being featured in the same company Ylle but in three separate magazines. They have one for portraits, bo***ir, and swimsuit. So, I have four of my photo shoots being featured in three of those type of magazines.
I'm honestly beyond excited and super grateful for this opportunity. And wanted to share 😁

The Lady Behind The Lens
Hi there,
I’m Skye. I'm a portrait in San Antonio, TX and my two favorite things in the world are to 1.) Take pictures of happy moments to always remember and 2.) Seeing and making people smile. Photography has been a part of my life since I was little, I would walk around the house snapping photos of random things and my family, but in the past few years I’ve become a little obsessed with taking pictures way more and want to start my business now. I love working with people and I get just as much satisfaction out of putting the finishing touches on a set of photos as I do from seeing the clients’ reactions when they see their photos. The best part of my job is sharing the final gallery with my clients. I get to show them how I’ve captured their genuine beauty and not a typical posed portrait. When I’m not taking pictures you’ll find me watching Netflix or spending time with my family and dogs. And I honestly feel like the luckiest person in the world because I am able to do something that makes me SO SO happy, and create memories for others as I do it!
