it is with great sadness that I annouce that today is our last day open. We had a good ride but we just couldn't make it with this tough economy. I would like to thank everyone who supported us in making this venture possible. Please forgive me if I do not mention you in this post but this isn't something I really wanted to write. To my departed father, without his support this project would have never been possible, Love you and miss you! To Jeremy, Adam, Allen and Ryan for working and keeping the store going, truly appreciated! To Peter Carollo my store design and builder, what a job you did my friend! To Wade Dillon for his store logo design and unique t shirt designs thank you bud! To all my friends who donated to the store decor: Gary Foreman, Ned Huthmacher, Adam Dominguez, Glen Effler, T Bob, Mike Waters, Larry Brenneman, Bob o Campo and others! Plus to all the great people who supported our store like Edith Politz, Forrest Byas, Laurie Foreman, Linda Linda and so many more! I will always cherish the memory of this place that so much hard work and love built.

Davy Crockett may have top billing at Crockett's Cabin, but we do mix it up a bit, so here's something for you Bowie fans! Now that's a knife!

Davy Crockett's Cabin would like to first thank Alan Huffines, retired US military officer & combat veteran of two major conflicts, for stopping by the shop. The author of the Alamo classic "Blood of Noble Men" and "Texas War of Independence" was kind enough to take a photo with me and his books which we proudly carry in the store! We would also like to thank Shane McAuliffe, creator and host of the television show "The Texas Bucket List" for stopping by the shop and taking a pic! Two fine gentlemen who both loved Davy Crockett's Cabin!

Looking to add something unique to your walls, we carry the Travis letter on parchment paper and the Texas Declaration of Independence. $7.99 each, rolled and in plastic tube.

Thanks to everyone who joined us this past weekend for our soft opening at Davy Crockett’s Cabin. Also thanks to all of those who wished us well here on Facebook! Truly appreciated!
