+ Exposure to UV rays (from sunlight or tanning beds) increase chances of developing melanoma.

• Knowing your ABCDE’s is crucial so you will be aware of any warning signs on your body or a loved ones.

• There are plenty of ways to prevent your chances of getting melanoma and reduce your exposure to any damaging UV rays.
With that being said- even the most careful ones can be affected by melanoma, so yearly body checks with a dermatologist are essential!

I did my favorite facial ever today- on my great grandma 🥹
This lady raised me and my mama. She works TIRELESSLY for everyone in our family. She’s 86 and still going like she’s 30. Her skin, her hands, her body…have seen so much. And it makes me emotional because I saw glimpses of her life during her facial.
Sun / age spots from pulling weeds in her yard, and having garage sales for years!
Her hands that have made me meals , and hemmed my school uniforms from when I was small.
Wrinkles that show she’s lived a full life.
It makes me so thankful to do what I do. Because I think the same things with every client I encounter. I see small parts of your life and am forever grateful to be a tiny part of it. 😭
