Our prayers continue to go out to the family of Vera Smith who died as a result of the collapsed bleachers at the Kendall County Fair on 31 August.
We first met Vera years ago when her granddaughter brought her to our foodtruck to try the catfish. We’d see her every year at the fair and or bullriding show.
She was always with her daughter and or granddaughter.
Vera was sweet, fun and funny. Our prayers to all of her family.

Our prayers continue to go out for the healing of all of those injured at the accident at the Kendal County fair on Saturday night.

Thank you again to the Kendal County fair folks for having us out again this year. As always a good time.

At least 12 injured after bleachers partially collapse at Kendall County Fair Grounds Kendall County officials are investigating what caused some bleachers to collapse Saturday night at the county’s Fair Grounds.

Great night at the kendal county fair. You still have time… they will be there until Aunday night at 11pm. Come have some catfish or a fried pork chop and enjoy the live band and the vendors.
