Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s turning eighty-nine and Running for the Mexican Border

The sheriff known as “America’s Toughest Sheriff,” and now known as “America’s Good Hearted Godfather” is setting a new standard on his Eighty-ninth birthday by running to the U.S./Mexican border to educate others on immigration issues and the border crisis.

Phoenix, AZ – USA – June 11, 2021 – Sheriff Joe Arpaio turns eighty-nine on June 14th and feels more convinced than ever to bring the immigration and border crisis to the forefront. As such, he will be signing copies of his book, “Sheriff Joe Arpaio: An American Legend,” this Monday evening as friends and family of Arpaio come together to celebrate his birthday at the Desert Canyon Golf Club in Fountain Hills. Incidentally, it took Arpaio a lifetime to find his one and true hero, and it just happens to be President Donald J. Trump, with whom he shares the same birthday. June 14th is also the birthday of the U.S. Army and the American Flag.

During his over thirty-year career as a top federal agent in the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration, Arpaio covered the border as the lead official in Texas, Arizona, Central and South America, and Mexico. Arpaio also spent twenty-four years at the border area as Sheriff of Maricopa County. If anyone knows where the border is, it is Arpaio. Many of his border exploits are covered in his new book. In August, he plans to do a book signing at the U.S./Mexican border in Nogales, Arizona, where he will offer a twenty percent discount for books purchased with pesos.

“The time has come for all people to learn the truth about immigration,” says Arpaio. In the past, Arpaio has been warned of the many dangers he may encounter should he ever cross the border. Through his tenure as Sheriff, many threats were made against his life, including from notorious Mexican cartels. Although Arpaio was highly encouraged by both the American and Mexican Governments while he was Sheriff not to enter Mexico, he is set on going regardless.

Meanwhile, Sheriff Joe Arpaio has not been sitting still but traveling around the country on behalf of staunch conservative candidates who have reached out for his gracious endorsement of their runs for public office. This is how he has earned the title “America’s Good-Hearted Godfather” from among this courageous group of future officeholders. According to Cyndi Love, “Arpaio influences, supports and endorses political elections nationwide. In addition, he knows when to intervene and guide us in the right direction for the higher cause. When he sets his mind to do something, he gets it done.”

Arpaio misses Ava, his wife, who went to Heaven a couple months ago. This is the first birthday in sixty-three years that he has been without her by his side. Arpaio has stated often that his wife “was the wind beneath my wings.” Finally, Arpaio will always be reminded of her birthday since on August 25, 2017, Ava’s birthday, is the day President Trump pardoned him.
