Food fact: The word "confit" comes from the French verb "confire" which means "to preserve." This dish was originally a method of preserving duck meat during the winter months before refrigeration became common, but it's since become a French favorite! ✨

"We recently went to Brasserie Mon Chou Chou. The food was great and the service was awesome! Very thorough and our wait staff gave us very good suggestions. I had the Filet De Cabillaud, Sauce Hollandaise with Crab Meuniere. The portion was perfect. Not too big and not too small. The cod had an excellent flavor and the hollandaise sauce added more flavor to complement the cod. The soft lump crab was good and was not overpowering or fishy. This is probably 3rd time, and my wife and I have been coming to this restaurant every year for our anniversary!" ✨
