We are hiring an experienced Medical Receptionist (full
time).

Duties include:
- Greet and check-in and check-out patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments
- Verify patient insurance information and collect co-pays & post payments
- Maintain patient records and update information as necessary
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families
- Complete medical records requests from other providers offices, insurances, etc.

Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a medical receptionist or in a similar role is required
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is preferred
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in using a multi-line phone system and other office equipment
-experience with Microsoft excel, word, sharepoint, etc.

This position requires strong customer service skills, a good attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality. The ideal candidate will be able to work well under pressure, maintain professionalism, and contribute to a positive work environment.

As a reminder to all patients, our office will be closed November 23-24 in observance of the holiday. We will resume normal business hours Monday, November 27.

Today, we wear pink in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Breast cancer is the second leading cause of death among women, so it is crucial that we recognize how important it is to raise awareness.

This is also a reminder to take action in the fight against breast cancer. Raise awareness AND funds!

Come learn how the E.A.S.Y. acronym can help you reach your movement goals. We will discuss motivation, identify barriers to movement, and engage in easy chair exercises. There will also be an opportunity to connect with an accountability partner. If you’re feeling stuck and unmotivated in your movement practice, this group is for you!

About Sara Broussard Garcia, MA, R-DMT, LPC:
Sara Broussard is a licensed professional counselor and a registered dance movement therapist with over six years of diverse counseling experience. She earned her MA in Dance Movement Therapy and Counseling from Columbia College Chicago. She incorporates expressive movement and body-based interventions into talk therapy sessions. Sara offers a safe, non-judgmental space for therapy of the mind, body, and spirit. In addition to counseling, Sara is a yoga instructor. She loves practicing yoga in the sunshine, camping in the Texas hill country, spending time with her husband and rescue dog, and cheering for the San Antonio Spurs.
