The countdown is almost over
We are having special guests Piri & Angela leading worship this morning! Join us as we kick off the new series “Doing It Better This Time Around”. And remember today is communion Sunday!!
So who’s ready? 9:00-945 is fellowship with donuts and coffee following service at 10:00 am!!

📣📣in less then 24 hours our Pastor Ruben will be kicking off our series “Doing It Better This Time Around”. Let’s not go in to the new year saying new year new me! The only way you can be new is with a changed heart. For in Ezekiel 36:26 states “ I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.” So this year let’s kick off a new heart with this amazing series along with communion Sunday!
Always remember you dont have to be perfect to follow JESUS if they’re any flaws he will work with you to help you get through them. So come as you are we will save a seat for you!!!

This past Sunday as you all know we had Baptism Sunday! Although many were out due to illness we had the youth show out and say YES to OUR HEAVENLY FATHER!
These 5 amazing young ladies all decided to go public with their faith and entered in to a closer relationship with OUR FATHER! They started their New Year on the right path!

Galatians 2:20”I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”

Due to weather Bible study will be cancelled today
Everybody we will be driving back into John 7 next week!

Before the countdown to the New Year Fire House Church is in its countdown for our New Year's Eve service this Sunday at 10:00 am!
Join us for some great fellowship from 9-9:45 and then praise and worship. Let’s hear the message of what GOD has in store for us in 2024 from none other than our amazing Pastor Ruben who brings the fire each time and sparks up everyone else’s fire. Come thank OUR HEAVENLY FATHER for getting us through 2023 and let's bring in the New Year in the best place we could be ....in the House of GOD!
Also don’t forget this is also baptism Sunday!! So bring in the new year refreshed and ready to conquer all that comes to you with the grace of GOD pouring over you!

As we come into the New Year remember to remain fixed on JESUS and all HE did for us during HIS time on earth.

For those of you who didn’t attended last week we put a pause on John so no one falls behind but fret not we did not put a pause on Bible study. Consistency is key and we will not stray away from the word!!

Baptism Sunday will be during our New Year’s Eve service. For those of you wanting to baptized or rebaptized get with Sister Melody Velez or one of the leaders to sign up! Let’s all join in to enter 2024 with a resolution to have a closer relationship with OUR HEAVENLY FATHER. Our church family will love to help you publicly announce your commitment to OUR HEAVENLY FATHER uniting you with HIS grace.

Matthew 2:1:12 After Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the time of King Herod, Magi from the east came to Jerusalem 2and asked, “Where is the one who has been born King of the Jews? We saw his star in the east and have come to worship him.”

3When King Herod heard this he was disturbed, and all Jerusalem with him. 4When he had called together all the people’s chief priests and teachers of the law, he asked them where the Christ was to be born. 5”In Bethlehem in Judea,” they replied, “for this is what the prophet has written:
6’But you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah,
are by no means least among the rulers of Judah;
for out of you will come a ruler
who will be the shepherd of my people Israel’.”

7Then Herod called the Magi secretly and found out from them the exact time the star had appeared. 8He sent them to Bethlehem and said, “Go and make a careful search for the child. As soon as you have found him, report to me, so that I too may go and worship him.”

9After they had heard the king, they went on their way, and the star they had seen in the east went ahead of them until it stopped over the place where the child was. 10When they saw the star, they were overjoyed. 11On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped Him. Then they opened their treasures and presented Him with gifts of gold and of incense and of myrrh. 12And having been warned in a dream not to go back to Herod, they returned to their country by another route.
I have always thought growing up because of pictures like this and what people told me that there where 3 men that came to visit JESUS but when I learned to study for myself I saw that there is no where in the Bible does it say that there was 3 of them

The reason why I believe, that people believe there where 3 because of the 3 gift they gave to JESUS

2 incense
3 myrrh

2 Corinthians 5:17 “Therefore if any man be in CHRIST, he is a new creation: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”
For everyone going through storms in your life just know by the grace of our HEAVENLY FATHER, HE will fill you up again. HE will give you another chance. Give all your struggles and broken pieces to HIM and by the grace of GOD HE will pour into you. Continuously know that the battle is not yours. You were meant for a greater purpose and the enemy will try to strip you from it time and time again but if you continue to seek in the LORD and stand on HIS firm foundation HE will lift you up. HE will show you the way. Trust in THE LORD and know that HE will never leave nor forsake you.

The GOOD SHEPHERD will always lead us to where we are needed. However we cannot become complacent. We have to always work as hard as we did from day 1. We have to work like JESUS! As others may have counted you out our HEAVENLY FATHER counted you in. Never steer away from HIM. Continuously grow to know our FATHER not only for the work HE has done for others but for what HE can do for you. GOD took it all for us so be that miracle, allow HIM to break those chains. In JESUS mighty name!! AMEN
