Hi everybody! I’m Brenda - my brother Alex and I own and operate El Pastor es mi Señor. Just like everybody in our industry, we’ve had a very rough year (couple of years, tbh).

However, today we woke up to the news that we’ve made it into the “Best 50 taquerias in Texas.” We are still processing the news (I’m still crying about it), but one thing I wanted to do today is to come over here, share the news with you all, and thank this amazing community.

It’s been a very long and rocky journey, however, you have made it easy and have been extremely supportive of us: to allow us to share with you a little piece of our cultura and our childhood growing up in CDMX.

To see the other amazing taquerias in our city make this list, is just a testament of how supportive and badass San Antonio is.
