Vidas Robadas/Stolen Lives Installation
VIDAS ROBADAS/STOLEN LIVES INSTALLATION
Now on display on the north side of the Sanctuary
First UU is participating in the Vidas Robadas/Stolen Lives t-shirt project. This is a project organized by Texas Impact to raise awareness of gun violence. There have been close to 2800 people lost to gun violence over the past 5 years in Bexar County. Local schools and churches have been writing the names of all those lost on tee shirts which will be publicly displayed. First UU has 200 shirts on display. It is a powerful exhibition. Take some time over the next few weeks to visit in person.

Please join us tomorrow at San Antonio's annual MLK march. Meet us in Lot 1 of the Freeman Coliseum (3201 E. Houston St.) between 8:30am & 8:45pm. Look for the church banner and the people wearing yellow "Side with Love" tee shirts. We will board the shuttle buses together at 9:00am to travel to the march. Please wear good walking shoes and bring water. The route is about 3 miles long and ends at the Pittman Sullivan Park. Shuttle buses will be available at the park to return you to your car. We hope to see lots of UUs and friends tomorrow!

San Antonio’s Martin Luther King, Jr. March is the largest MLK march in the country. First UU has historically marched as a group, and we hope that this year will be our largest showing ever.
