Recipe of the Month: Roasted Garlic Hummus
Did you know we make our own Homemade Roasted Garlic Hummus in all cafeterias? This brand-new scratch recipe provides students a delicious vegan option and a chance to explore global flavors! Hummus is available at school weekly and you can follow the recipe below to enjoy it at home!

Meet our new Dietitian/Wellness Coordinator, Leslie Plata Barrientes!
Leslie graduated from the University of the Incarnate Word with her B.S. in Nutrition & Dietetics in May of 2023, and she did an internship in School Nutrition Services in the Fall of 2023! She has worked with San Antonio Botanical Gardens, CHEF San Antonio, and the San Antonio Food Bank! Fun Fact: Leslie loves food and nutrition so much, she named her dog Kale Greens!
