Since we opened our doors in 2009, we have been blessed to greet and serve so many wonderful people, many of whom have returned time and again over the years. Bangkok 54 Thai Cuisine will be closed from Wednesday, May 3, through Sunday, May 21, 2023. We will reopen Monday, May 22 on our regular schedule for lunch and dinner service. At Bangkok 54 Thai Cuisine we are truly thankful to all of our customers. Please join us again when we reopen. Sunday, May 9, is Mothers Day! To honor all Moms on this special day, Bangkok 54 Thai Cuisine will be open from 11:30 AM to 9. This Sunday opening for Mothers Day has always been an annual event for us that we look forward to. Your Mom will enjoy delicious Thai food selections prepared with fresh ingredients and seasonings in authentic Thai style. Since each dish is prepared individually, we can satisfy special preferences and levels of spice as you wish. As always, the delicious food and warm service in our friendly dining room will ensure Mothers Day is a happy day for that special Mom and everyone who loves her!

Happy Easter to everyone from Bangkok 54 Thai Cuisine. We are truly very thankful for the support of so many of our loyal customers over the last few weeks as we do our very best to work through this difficult time. We are prepared to resume full service as soon as allowed, but until then, we will happily continue providing carry out service of the best in authentic Thai food selections. summer is just around the corner once more! 🤗🏝 During this time of year the mangos are especially ripe and sweet making them perfect for our signature dessert of mango with sweet rice cooked in coconut milk. A delectable combination of sweet with just a touch of salty.
We also will be offering our fried bananas, another popular choice amongst regulars. Ripened bananas wrapped and fried until golden brown , and drizzled in honey and toasted sesame seeds. No matter your preference we're sure to have a little something for everyone this summer. 🏦🇨🇷🏝

For those of you who did not see it (I didn't, friends told me), the 2012 San Antonio Express News Readers' Choice published on June 17 named our restaurant, Bangkok 54 Thai Cuisine, the Critics Choice as best Neighborhood Restaurant/Northeast. Wow, I had no idea that we were under consideration at all. Such recognition is really nice, especially considering the other wonderful establishments in northeast San Antonio. I am so proud of the restaurant staff, and I am truly humbled by the support and loyalty of our friends/customers since we opened. Thank you all so much.

We look forward to showing everyone that the Express News food critics are absolutely correct, not only for 2012, but for many years to come. I welcome all of you to stop by and see why they chose our restaurant for such an honor.

Soft shell crab with basil has impressed everyone who has tried it. It is a delightful blend of textures, flavors, and seasonings. The end result - delicious.
