March is Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month and Methodist Hospital is shining vibrant blue to honor survivors, promote early detection, and provide support to those affected by the disease.

Colorectal cancer is the third most common cancer diagnosed in both men and women in the United States. According to the American Cancer Society, it is estimated that more than 150,000 new cases of colorectal cancer will be diagnosed in the United States in 2024 alone. However, with early detection through screening and lifestyle modifications, many cases are preventable.

Together, we can raise awareness, encourage screenings, and work to reduce the impact of colorectal cancer on our loved ones and our community.
