We are very excited to celebrate Lesa Ammann as WRR's August Volunteer of the Month!

Lesa has been an incredible supporter of WRR in every way. Whether attending our events, sharing our message online, or volunteering for animal rescues, Lesa has done it all.

When asked why she chose to volunteer with WRR, Lesa shared: “I've always felt a spiritual calling to be of service to wildlife. One of my earliest memories is spending long summer afternoons at my grandparents' farm saving bees from a water trough. Today, I dedicate much of my time and energy helping however I can, honoring the heart's desire of my inner child. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to serve at WRR and to help fulfill their mission of protecting and nurturing these creatures. This work brings me profound joy and purpose, filling my heart and soul and bringing me closer to the essence of who I truly am.”

At least 3 days of newspapers I’ll buy you a shot/drink/beer.
Same for egg cartons- I’m looking for the paper/cardboard ones not the foam ones.

Club Sirius supports local wildlife organizations and I volunteer my time, energy, and vehicle to help w transports, rescues, releases, feedings, and cleaning of their temporary habitat while they’re in rehab!
