The pressure of buying that certain someone who has it all the perfect gift. You want to do something for them creative, out of the box and super original… something no one else would think to give!

Hair Lesson $150 for up to 2 hours *

Makeup Lesson $200 for up to 2 hours *

What’s that * for? So glad we are on the same wavelength…

This is one on one with a stylist or an artist, uninterrupted and totally about the recipient. Whatever we can fit in 2 hours we will do. Maybe they want a clean professional work look that (with a few steps) turn into an evening ready look. Maybe they are young and new to ALL of it… we’llcustomize a lesson with techniques, product recommendations and work to show them how far their tools can go to achieve the newest fresh version for your gift recipient! The end of lesson comes with a face chart to follow for makeup and instructions for hair. It’s a lot to take in, so we will make sure they leave empowered with their new abilities and some references incase they forget a step or two.

It’s taken me this long to compose myself and make it through creating a post. The love I have for you is impossible to describe. You have been a phenomenal student, an amazing ally, my rock on hard days, the house comedian on most days, the cheerleader for the team and for brides. You are irreplaceable. You are a saving grace. You are the light in the room. You are my friend, you are my sister, you are my advisor and sometimes webwd, IMDb and Wikipedia. You are so deeply loved by not only me, your teammates, your clients and by your fantastic husband Will. The world is better because you are in it. My life is better because you are in it. JAX Studio is the best because you are such a large part of it.

There were so many amazing details that I loved about this wedding! They put so much thought into everything from the classic TTU tortilla toss to the rainbow sprinkle cake, the personalized drink stirrers, and the Mexican ceramic tile coasters.

Everything was seriously so stunning, and I’m SO honored I was able to photograph their big day!

It is with the heaviest heart I say good by to my dearest beloved friend . We spoke Monday about the synchronicity of the world, the beauty in common places, magic and of course, rainbows. This was a very normal conversation to have with Natalia. She saw beauty in everything, opportunities to create everywhere, and the goodness in all people. She taught me patience (anyone who ever worked on a shoot with Natalia knew they ran long) and appreciation for things I could not always see. She was a huge supporter of the studio, she referred her clients and spoke very highly of the art of makeup and hair. She always treated myself and staff as an integral part of her work. She loved all thing luxurious, all things over the top, fine paintings and good champagne. We spent many an afternoon plotting our next shoot, the next step, the next level of our businesses. Most the time she’d have me by the arm taking me to meet with artists, chefs and fellow lovers of the small details with very big lives. I already was missing her on Monday. But my heart has a huge hole now because I know she’s one of my favorite people. I’ll still see her in all the beauty and I know I’ll think her name everytime I experience the magic of the world.
The picture posted is what Natalia gave me, one of many gifts and portraits I hold so dear. May we all be as beautiful as Natalia saw us. May she carry on to the next plane in absolute love and light. I’ll miss you more than you will ever know my dearest friend.
