Creating yarn magic, one stitch at a time 🧶 TR Cluster Parent Crochet Club is back at it again this year. Todays parent instructor was Jessica Acosta shared her unique technique in the art of crochet. We can’t wait to see everyone next month as we continue to craft and learn from one another. 💙❤️

Roosevelt JROTC cadets gathered for a special ceremony in rememberance of September 11, 2001. We are proud of our cadets for their dedication to service and leadership as they keep this important tradition alive.

Roosevelt Cluster Athletics teams joined together for the first annual “9/11 Memorial Stair Climb.”

This event is a way to remember and honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice on 9/11/01. Each athlete from Roosevelt, Ed White, & Krueger walked/jogged the stadium bleachers for the equivalent distance of 110 stories. The completion of the climb symbolically represents those whom we lost at the World Trade Center.

Team! The team did great serving up some serious volleyball skills 💙🚌🏐❤️

🎨🖌️ Athletic Gym Mural Update🖌️🎨

The 70 foot long installation created and designed by Roosevelt Art teacher Sandra Gonzalez McKinney and her husband Malachy McKinney is about halfway finished! They started working on this project in June and plan to be completed by mid-September.

The mural was commissioned by Ben Freeman in honor of his late wife Cynthia and their shared loves for Roosevelt Athletics and the community. When the mural is complete, an athletes from each sport will be represented along the wall.

Pictured below is the TR Basketball Team helping paint the mural. This is a special moment to know they are leaving their footprint here at TR. 💙🏀❤️

Turn up the volume and let the music do the talking. The past two weeks our TR Orchestra members have been motivating and inspiring young musicians throughout the Roosevelt Cluster.

TR Varsity Football is joining the fight againist hunger. The season opener game is dedicated to the “Peanut Butter Bowl” Riders vs Smithson Valley.

The team is seeking donations of peanut butter jars (any brand) from YOU and any community member wanting to support the ROOSEVELT CLUSTER!

Drop off your peanut butter jars at Roosevelt High School. The TWO collection bins are located on campus. One will be at the front office and the other in the coaches office. However, we must act fast due to collection ending Tuesday, August 27, 2024.
