All Veterans, Gold Star Families, and General Public is invited to attend the American Legion Alamo Post 2 Annual Memorial Day Ceremony, "Remembering and Honoring" on Friday, May 24, 2024. Entry is Free, No Cover. Doors Open at 6pm. Presentation of Colors and Battlefield Cross Ceremony at 8pm with Special Musical Performance by the Post2 Alamo City Community Marching Band.

Also on that Night, The American Legion Alamo Post 2 will Proudly and Honorably Announce the Inauguration of the "LCpl. Julian Escobedo Jr. (USMC), Edgewood Class of 1967, KIA/MIA September 01, 1969-Vietnam, POW/MIA Scholarship Fund" with a Special Recognition of the Escobedo Family.
Following will be our "Friday Tejano Nights Dance" with Come-back Star, DJ "Chale" until 11pm. The Kitchen Grill will be Open Serving Hot Food Items, Chalupas, Hot Dogs/Chili Dogs, Nachos, Frito-Pies. Cash Bar Available Serving All Your Favorite Beers, Margaritas, and Mixed Drinks.
