Our Story
The Brown Bag Sandwich Shop is a ‘hole in the wall’ Small Mom & Pop Sandwich Shop with indoor and outdoor patio seating available. We've been serving the San Antonio Community since 1985 with the same recipee’s it was founded on. We have also added New Menu items since then, but the Original Dessert and Sandwiches from ‘85 remain the same! We find that its important as a Small Business to do our part by supporting other local businesses as much as we can, which is why we now buy our Fresh Bread from a Small Business in San Antonio! In the near future we plan to also include Coffee, with a Local Roaster creating our own Special Blend! On top of that we find it necessary to stay away from purchasing vegetables and fruits from large distributors, and personally go ourselves to pick only the freshest locally each week!
We hope you come on by to try our Fresh Sandwiches, Hot Subs, Soup of the Day, House Sides, and Old Fashion Desserts!
