Our mission implies movement. Children move from an experience (Salvation), to a discovery (Discipleship), to a demonstration (Service). Cornerstone Kids believes biblical discipleship is an ongoing process, and we strive to provide services, programs, and events that make that possible. We take great care in presenting Jesus in a way that is fun and relevant for children. Here is what we value as a ministry:

Life change happens best in the context of spiritually authentic relationships. We prioritize community to create opportunities to belong, to grow, and to live our lives in a way that honors God.

We are blessed to serve the families of our church and community by offering these Sunday services and programs:

Cornerstone Kids Worship Service at 8:30 am and 11:00 am
An interactive worship service that is certain to captivate kids. Every week children are led in praise and worship and a faith-filled Bible Lesson. This service is designed to increase your child’s understanding of the Bible, bring them to the saving knowledge of Christ and strengthen them in their walk of faith.

Sunday School at 10:00 am
Our Sunday School program is an important part of your child’s spiritual formation at Cornerstone Church. Every week our dedicated and experienced ministry leaders teach foundational lessons that help children experience God for themselves in a real and powerful way. The lessons are designed to help your kids learn valuable biblical truth, and ways to apply that truth in their own lives at church and at home.

Small Group Bible and Music Activity Program at 6:30 pm
Sunday nights are filled with fun as we utilize the beautiful ARK building for a small group Bible and music program. The Bible comes to life as children discover spiritual truths and apply them to their lives. Music is directed by Ashley Rose from Cornerstone’s Music Department. This one of a kind learning experience will teach your children a variety of songs and motions, how to demonstrate a heart of worship, and discover how to give God praise. Kids enjoy musical performances, themed nights and a variety of special events throughout the year.

Celebration Sunday: Children’s Baptisms 8 – 11 years old
Celebration Sunday is our special baptism worship service on selected Sunday nights at 6:30 pm. Following their acceptance of Christ, children 8 – 11 years of age can experience the joy of being baptized in the main sanctuary in front of their family and friends. We offer a special baptism class in the Life Center at 5:00 pm on the evenings of Celebration Sundays.

One2One Special Needs Ministry
Our One2One special needs ministry is here for families who have exceptional students ages two and older. Every student is a gift from God and has the ability to learn. We help students to have a positive church experience by meeting each child’s own special need. Some students are able to participate in the main children’s service by using various tools such as providing head phones for sound sensitivities or offering care by a volunteer. In the One2One classroom our goal is to provide a one-to-one student/volunteer ratio that provides direct supervision and allows each student to be instructed at their individual learning level. Our classroom offers a structured service which includes praise and worship, a fun time with toys, and a Bible lesson that incorporates the learning of social skills. We have reading rockers, bean bag chairs, and many other sensory-friendly toys. Snacks are also available for our students whenever they need it.
