We held two ceremonies this week recognizing our SAFD family members that have chosen to advance their careers by achieving promotion within the Department. Congratulations!

Decorate safely. Place your tree at least 3 feet away from heat sources like fireplaces, space heaters, and candles. Before hanging lights, make sure all bulbs work and there are no frayed wires, broken sockets, or loose connections. Dr. David Miramontes is the Medical Director for the San Antonio Fire Department. 'Doc' underwent an innovative procedure to cure him from a rare type of cancer and is now cancer free.
